Beautiful location with views from our room (No5) over both loch and snow covered mountains beyond... Hotel is decorated and furnished to a very high standard with log fires in both the lounges. Room itself was perfect with a huge very comfy bed, separate sitting area and lovely en-suite with a big bath. The restaurant (of which there are two)... More

We stayed here for two nights, just before New Year. What a truly lovely and special place...remote...yes, quiet...yes, and we found all that the weary traveller could ask for. Set in a beautiful and mystical part of Scotland, this hotel is an oasis of welcome, calm, comfort and friendliness with attractive views over the Loch. The room was very comfortable.... More

Stayed for a 3 night special break over the New Year. From the minute we stepped into the hotel to the moment we left, the staff could not do enough to help us. I have honestly never stayed in a hotel where the staff were so friendly. The hotel itself is lovely and beautifully decorated. It is very cosy with... More

We stayed for the 3 night Christmas break and were sorry to leave. The hotel is a traditional Scottish stone-built lodge with very attractive decor and furnishing. The standard double room was not spacious but adequate for us and with space for the dog's bed at night. Decor was stylish, the bed was extremely comfortable and it had a roomy... More

Just spent a blissful 2 days at this gem of a place tucked away on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. ...what an utter joy! Room was fabulous. ..food was fabulous and the attentive staff were outstanding. ..nothing was too much trouble. ...contrary to many country house hotels, the atmosphere was decidedly unstuffy and meant we relaxed completely. ...can't wait for our return... Have stayed here numerous times and even got married here but last time we were here the manager had left and Anne was manageress and we actually thought the place was not as good as it used to be. We even got our friends from Wick to get married here, we were married under the tree 6 years ago on... More

Very Nice hotel, wonderful welcome, super food. Dog friendly. Food was very good. Dog friendly rooms are separated from normal folk so as not to disturb them. Very enjoyable and super if you have a dog or children. Those without seemed to be having a very nice time too. I remember those days.

We held our small wedding here this weekend. From start to finish we were overwhelmed with the beauty of the location, the stunning hotel and the exceptional attention to detail and amazing enthusiasm from staff. From the moment we arrived Paul and his team welcomed us and made us feel very relaxed and at home. All aspects of our wedding... More
