Having left it to the last minute as usual to book all 5 of my family into aomewhere on the west coast of Scotland I was relieved to find something within our price range. We were all truly amazed. The lodge is a modest stone building situated on the loch edge in remote and beautiful Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Inside the house... More

Food amazing, drink choices fabulous, view outstanding, service welcoming and attentive - we'll definitely be back! We'd spent a week camping at the glorious tip of Ardnamurchan and at least all morning driving along that crazy road to get off the peninsular so arrived for lunch wondering if we'd even be allowed through the door. To our joy, dogs, children... More

My wife and I returned to Kilcamb for our annual visit - we've been there for the past 10 years. We spent two nights with dinner, bed & breakfast and what a treat. We tried the tasting menu and were delighted. The experience of the stay was magic with great accomodation, food & staff. See you next year !

this was our first stay at Kilcamb Lodge, and we were made welcome from the moment we set foot in the door. Friendly staff checked us in, and carried our bags to our comfy bedroom. This had a good bath - essential to soak after a long highland walk. The restaurant has a splendid menu, slanted towards the seafood side... More

My boyfriend booked a table at Kilcamb to celebrate my 40th birthday and what a wonderful evening we had. It is the perfect destination for a celebration meal and especially for a romantic evening too. The Lodge is stunning in manicure grounds with a majestic view. Sadly it was a little too cold to hang around so we ran inside... More

What a lovely review!! We are so pleased that your Birthday treat was everything you had hoped for although I must confess that shooting stars are not part of our service but how wonderful to see one on such a special evening. Thank you and do come and visit again soon. Kindest regards Sally & David Fox More

The first night we just came in for dinner and as we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, we booked ourselves in to stay in the hotel for the next night on full board. It is such a nice place to stay in and everything was perfect for us. One littel downside was that there was not much waterpressure in... More

This is a lovely place to stay for a quiet night in western Scotland. Most importantly, they boast a top-class dining facility. We had a truly terrific dinner, based on seafood but w/lots more. Staff were friendly and we had a nice chat w/the owners.

Enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at Kilcamb. Very friendly welcome to my husband, the dog and me. Enjoyed afternoon tea outdoors with amazing views. Dinner is flawless. Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Waiting staff were as attentive as you would like without being pushy. Enjoyed breakfast outdoors on our last morning which was served to perfection. Id say it was a lovely place, with very good food but the attitude of the owners has left me speechless after I dared to comment here - even my positives were treated negatively. Suffice to say its not on my "to go back" list.

Our "attitude" was simply to defend our staff and our business against some of the unkind, personal and ill judged comments you made, which were justifiably removed from Trip Advisor. I maintain that despite your letter subsequently, you are most welcome at Kilcamb Lodge and that no grudges will be harboured here. More
