We had a really great night here in a beautiful room (Room 5) with exceptionally friendly service, good food and wonderful decor. Someone has a real eye for style and details here. And it's set in a very special area with lots of fine scenery and walking. We will certainly find opportunities to return.'

My wife and I spent a weekend at Kilcamb. There was nothing about the stay that wasn't wonderful. The staff, location, accomodation, service and food all surpassed our expectations. They even dealt with a booking error (on our behalf) with seemless professionalism - a room was found and we were catered for effortlessly. I can't commned the hotel highly enough,... More

As this hotel was described as a small luxury hotel, we were very disappointed with our stay. Our room was tiny, it was described as a classic double with a garden view, there wasent enough room for the dog and I to pass at the bottom of the bed, never mind two people, it's not acceptable to say " it... Whilst we really appreciate your comments about our great staff and our delicious shortbread, I would like to put the record straight on this review and the inaccuracies and mendacious comments it contains. The room you had was a standard double which I described in great detail to your wife at booking stage. I was very accurate with the details... More

Review: 'We have just returned from a wonderful relaxing stay at Kilcamb Lodge. The food, wine, accomodation and staff were all superb. The added bonus for us was that such a superb hotel was also dog friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel.'

We had an absolutely great time here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was outstanding and the bedroom and public rooms were ideal. The weather was dreadful, so we just made the most of the hotel. Will certainly be back

We have just enjoyed one of the best lunches ever, the quality of the food exceeded even those with a £50 price tag, for £19.50 only for Sunday lunch. Absolutely marvellous in all respects. We will certainly be back - what a discovery!

We visited for 3 nights in February, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and every member of the team went out of their way to make this an unforgettable trip. We ate in the restaraunt every evening, the food was excellent every evening, it was served at a nice leisurely pace to suit the weekend, dinner was followed by coffee... More

Nice country hotel in beautiful location. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room though a little bit cold on the first night but warmed up on the second. Dinner was very good as was breakfast. Pre dinner drinks were a bit pricey though. Would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.

I took my wife here a few years ago as a surprise celebration for completing the 3 Peaks challenge. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the shores of a sea Loch. The owners were lovely and very welcoming and when they found out why we were staying the Chef piped 3 mountains in chocolate on my wifes dessert... More

I went here for an evening meal it was very quiet but cosy. The food was excellent and the menu made me choose different options to what I would normally choose. The drinks and some of the meat dishes were in my opinion too overpriced so I settled for a soft drink. The whole place was decorated well and the... More

Thank you for your review your meal experience in our Driftwood Brasserie. We are so glad to read how much you enjoyed it. Price is a very subjective matter but in our defense, we do offer a wide range of dishes and prices to suit all tastes and pockets. We are not the cheapest of eateries but we do pride... More
