Drive off the Oban/Campbeltown roundabout into easy parking at rear. Welcoming host. Very comfortable en suite rooms. Excellent view down loch at front. Good juice, fruit and cereal selection plus well cooked Scottish breakfast. Beware the very strong coffee!

Stayed 2 nights in this very large house just outside Lochgilphead, right on a roundabout, and not particularly to get in with a large car. The entrance hall was graced with a life-size model of a warthog, not the most welcoming of creatures! Other African artifacts were dotted around the house, which was idiosyncratic, if nothing else. Our room on... More

Very nice B and B ..... Rooms very comfortable, and a nice breakfast. Would stay here again. Especially liked the bird feeder outside the windows of the breakfast room! Interesting building that is a converted doctors rooms.

We recently spent 2 nights at the Corran and were very happy with almost everything. We had the lovely spacious room upstairs with gorgeous view down the loch. Comfortable chairs to enjoy the view, big thick towels and great breakfast.

Stayed here as part of a group of motorcyclists , touring the area. The rooms were comfy and clean, with plenty of hot water . Breakfast in the morning was excellent . Many Thanks to Wilma for looking after us, and making our stay enjoyable. Excellent views over the back garden and loch , from room 2.

We arrived at the Corran after a long cycle so were ready to relax. The guest house was lovely and there were lots of interesting bit and bobs around the house. Susan was really friendly and helpful with directions to the local chippy! Our room was spacious, light and comfortable with a nice view. The breakfast was lovely lots of... More

I have been staying at the Corran on about 4 occassions a year for the last 4 years and what a decline in standards. They have now reached a level where you have the pleasure of paying £55 a night if you are a on your own and you get the pleasure of making your own bed in the morning... More

Just returned here from a trip with my two sons. We were made to feel very welcome by Susan. Made sure we had plenty water on arrival. The room was lovely and very quiet with a huge bathroom. We were told if we didn't make it down for time for breakfast not to worry, we'd definitely get fed! Likewise we... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We were attended to very quickly on arrival by friendly Susan who took time to explain the breakfast routine, the facilities in our room and handover keys so we could come and go as we pleased. Our room was bright , spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The huge shower room was... More

Susan, the host, makes this visit worthwhile!! I loved our room downstairs and huge separate bathroom. We had just arrives in Scotland and wanted to sleep. It was nice and quiet where we were. It is an older place, but has its own charm. Great stopover on the way to Isle of Islay!
