Celebrated the wedding of my daughter on 24th May 2014. We stayed at Lunga Friday - Sunday and had both wedding ceremony and reception there. All our guests said they had lovely bedrooms and a great night's sleep. The setting is stunning and the service of the friendly staff superb. A special mention for the food - all options (... More

We had the misfortune to book the Foresters cottage at this estate. As the title states it was not fit for human habitation. Everything (the walls, furniture, work surfaces, windows) was dirty, it smelled strongly of damp and decay, I have seen better furniture in a council skip site. It was little more than a large garden shed with a... More

We stayed in Lunga House on the Lunga Estate for my sister in Laws wedding in May/June 2013 for a week and family and friends stayed in both the main house and surrounding cottages. We had the most amazing time. The accommodation was stunning, our room was beautiful with a wonderful comfortable bed, crisp white linen, lovely furniture, very clean,... More

We have used Lunga twice - once for our daughter's wedding and again for a special birthday party. On both occasions we, friends and family have occupied all the rooms over long weekends, had special meals, ceilidhs and, of course, the wedding ceremony itself. Lunga really is a very special place. It feels like the Laird has just walked out... More

We had been to Lunga House prior to our wedding on a couple of occasions so we knew what to expect when we arrived for the actual wedding weekend. However, once we were in the house with all of our loved ones, it had a completely different and magical feel about it. Meg, Les, Carole and the rest of the... More

I have been remiss in adding my review. From start to finish, the venue and staff particularly Meg and Les our hosts and Carole doing the food and photography were all warm, friendly and just amazing. We had the whole house for the weekend and every resident guest and visiting guest were overwhelmed by the house . The rooms everywhere... More

I held my 60th Birthday week celebrations over 6 days at Lunga in August. Not only was this an incredibly special occasion as I was reaching this unbelievably ridiculous age! but also it was the first time we had got together 22 members of our family, spanning 3 generations. Meg and Les couldn’t have been better hosts, from my meeting... More

Lunga House is just beautiful, We went there last weekend for champagne and a birthday meal. The grounds have been kept well, the house lovely old scottish style, the view's spectacular. We had a 3 course meal with family which was good if a little dry but fine all the same. The staff kept interupting throughout the meal asking when... More

We stayed at Coachmans cottage on this very interesting estate. The cottage however was shabby and although the pricing was competitive, it should not have been made available to the public. The kitchen smelled of cats and the bathroom carpet smelled of urine. Wallpaper was peeling and light fittings were just plain dirty. One of the 2 lounge sofas was... More
