Kinlochleven is a great place to visit and the Trailrace Inn is a nice place to stay! The location is wonderful for hiking on the West Highland Way. The food is good, the village is lovely and the people are nice. Cheers!

I recently booked a room at the Trailrace Inn to join some friends for a night away in the highlands. Unfortunately due to ill health I had to cancel 4 days before. The Inn charged me the full amount for the night! I had booked the room online using Booking.com so had to give my card details at time of... More

We stay here often, first pub you come to off the West Highland Way path, good food, beer and service. Nice rooms and a good breakfast to set you off again in the morning, what more could you wish for!

The pub had very friendly staff, good food, gave us a warm and clean room and good breakfast, all for a very reasonable rate. We stayed here in preference to busy and expensive Glencoe and will do so again.

Decent plain food, nice proprietors, clean room. Good to get away from the hectic atmosphere of Glencoe, Kinlochleven being a bit of a backwater. An earlier breakfast would have been good for us (it started at 8), but no complaints about it otherwise. Beers in the (otherwise OK) bar a bit unimaginative: I yearned for the Clachaig. But then in... More

The staff were great in making me feel at home. I had a very comfortable sleep and the room had everything I needed. Multiple sockets, free WiFi, great shower and breakfast. The bar is great historically and socially. The pictures around the bar walls show some of Kinlochlevens History while people play pool, chat away and listen to music.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Good pub food. Good value meals between 4pm and 6pm. What more do you need for an overnight (Drying room a bonus). Fish & chip shop opposite hotel. Free WiFi in bar - service didn't reach our room.

this is a small hotel, we were greeted by i think one of the owners, awesome Scottish accent, very friendly. the rooms are tidy, a bit old fashioned but fine. we searched the area for a place to eat and the pub in the hotel was seriously the best place around. Lots of people, even locals. The food was fine... More
