Great night bringing in 2016 at kilfinan hotel .Friendly staff and lovely haggis neeps and tatties and a wee whisky just after the bells. A lovely atmosphere and enjoyable evening will be back soon x.

We had an excellent lunch here a few months back. There was an impressive choice of dishes on the menu including local seafood. Everything we had was delicious. Staff were really friendly. All in all a lovely place to stop for a meal.

The Kilfinan team were amazing as they supported us in our preparations for Claire & Andy's wedding, as well as on the big day itself. The food was delicious, and sourced locally, the venue delightful and the staff first class. The scenery is beyond beautiful and we were blessed with beautiful weather. With Kilfinan Church next door we enjoyed being... More

We booked the hotel for my daughter's wedding on September 5th. Everything was perfect. We had such a good time. Some of our party arrived at the hotel on the Wednesday and were beautifully looked after for their whole stay. We had free rein to decorate the function room in any way we pleased and lots of support so that... More

We had a fabulous night away at the Kilfinan Hotel and were just sad that it was for one night only. The fire was burning away in the bar area upon our arrival and we were able to sit an enjoy a drink while having a good chat to Madelon. Our room was just lovely - very big, light and... More

Kilfinan Hotel is back to the excellent standards of yesteryear. Quite a change since the 40s, when it was oil lamps, battery-powered wireless, wind-up gramophone, landlord forgetting to pedal as he played the harmonium, daily home-baking on the black range, salmon jumping up the falls in the burn .. but I digress. Today you get a friendly reception and a... More

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate my 14 week old son' christening. Staff accommodated our every need in a friendly way and nothing seemed to be a hassle for them. The hotel facilities are lovely and very homely and the food is.......well there was clean plates all round, including from the fussy 9 year old, which in itself speaks... More

We decided to go here as a 50th birthday treat for me. We enjoy peace and quiet so the Kilfinan Hotel was just the place. It was once an old coach house for passing travellers, built in the 1600's. It is very remote but the countryside around the hotel is full of wildlife, wild flowers and wonderful views. We enjoyed... More

This summer my family (wife, two teenagers and me) and other friends (same lot as family) Have been visiting around Scotland. For all of us it´s been the greatest experience of all. Before getting there I had some e-mail contact with them about special needs for menu (gluten free), or for time to arrive. They answered me by the way... More

I was in contact with Andrew and Helen a good few times before arriving at the hotel and even although they were abroad on holiday they took the time to answer all my questions. We were going to have dinner when we arrived at the hotel but got caught up along the way. I sent an email saying we would... More
