A stunning hotel located in a breathtaking location. The room was great with a fantastic view over the loch. The public rooms were elegant and comfortable. We were met with a very warm welcome. My husband and I love Ardanaiseig - we have been 6 times over the last 5 years. The hotel and grounds are magical - we totally get what its all about. Stayed here for several days in October 2009. In my opinion, this is simply not a luxury hotel; it is a (grossly) overpriced charade. This is a stunning hotel located in a stunning location. The rooms are great and much better than expected given some of the reviews. First impressions are excellent: a stunning building in a breathtakingly secluded location by a loch; the drawing room / lounge is also very elegant with comfortable sofas and great views over the loch. We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our Honeymoon on the West coast of Scotland. Our room (Kilchurn) was lovely with 4 poster, very spacious and beautifully furnished.
