Discreet but attentive service in this very smart hotel less than 2 hours from Glasgow. Our room was amazing, very modern chic and comfortable with views over the loch and a bathroom to spend hours in. Flat screen TV to catch up with the news - not that you will want to!!
Really nice public rooms to relax in or in my case to finish a speech and deliver it thanks to the free WiFi.

The food was of the highest order, lots of Cheffy tasters etc which we loved and the flavours and presentation said to me fresh food, well prepared. I didn't realise just how much went into the food until breakfast time when I noticed the toast was from home made bread and that the mushrooms on the plate were chanterelles!! When we asked the waitress she told us that the mushrooms had been picked by the Chef that morning and as we got chatting she pointed out that the jam was made from their own plums and that the marmalade was also... more
