We stayed for one night on our way up to the isles. The hotel lived up to its blurb: a very romantic, quiet setting on the side of Loch Awe. Excellent food, very good service and good value for money. We were upgraded on arrival to a room with a loch view (thank you!). No complaints at all. more

The hotel is a 300 year old cattle drovers inn located on Loch Awe. Apparently it has always been a hotel and two famous travellers, James Boswell and Samuel Johnson stayed here.
