My dive buddies and I dived Kentallen Wall just outside the Holly Tree Hotel and we're then welcomed into the hotel for an absolutely mouth watering lunch. I had oysters and my friend tried them for the first time and loved them! The scallops were delicious and the staff were warm, welcoming and great fun. Thanks to Shona for being... More

We stayed here for a family holiday and loved the hotel. The staff are really nice and helpful. The rooms are elegant and clean. The restaurant food is very good. There is a swimming pool and sauna which were well frequented by us. Car parking is free. The only drawback is poor wifi. In some of the rooms the wifi... More

I rented this cottage for the week that is owned by the Holly Tree Hotel. I am starting with the positives since there are several to out weigh the negative comments later on. This cottage faces Loch Linnhe with just the small road between the cottage and the water. When you sit on the spacious wood deck in the front... More

Stayed here for one night and was blown away with the stunning setting, views, food and friendliness of the staff. We got a delux room (?standard) overlooking Loch Linnie. It was spacious and luxurious. The restaurant also served up some fantastic food - with sea food a speciality. My wife and I both had the "Holly Tree seafood Rendeview" with... More

Great location, friendly staff and good food. I had the chicken burger which came on a toasted brioche roll, with chips and relish. My friends had pumpkin ravioli and mussels. Everything looked and tasted lovely. It was a beautiful day and lunch on the terrace was just perfect.

Had a meal here a couple of days ago - recommended to come by a local b&b. The food was good & v freshly prepared - the grilled scallops were particularly good for the seafood lover, and both the delicious deep-fried brie & redcurrant and the home-made ravioli for the vegetarian half of the party. Service was friendly and quick... More

Stayed as a couple for one night in a deluxe double room (room 4). The room was very large with comfortable bed, double mirrored wardrobes, bedside tables and drawer unit. Room also had iron, ironing board, hairdryer and tea making facilities. Two bucket chairs and coffee table set in front of the large windows with fabulous views of the loch.... More

Hotel is beautifully situated on the waterfront. It is equipped with all amenities: restaurant, pool, bar. Staff is flexible and helpfull. Food quality is very good but not special. Great rooms, nice terrace, everything very clean. Drawback: walking from the hotel is not really possible because the road has no footpath. But when you want a quiet moment: this is... More
