Wanted to stay here since i first found this hotel 25yrs ago. Have not been disappointed! Stunning views. Great large comfortable rooms Fab food and great ambience in the restaurant complete with real coal fire. Dinner consisted of scallops followed by duck then scottish cheese board and some Scottish gin. Also fantastic cooked breakfast. Dinner for guests staying over is... More

Cant really fault this hotel, staff were fantastic, food was great ( had bar meal and also used restaurant ), great location, on the cycle path to Glencoe and down to OBAN. Will be going back whenever in the area although its hard to book in peak season as its popular

I stayed at this hotel for a week whilst working in Lochaber some years ago and decided to go back with my wife as it had been a lovely location and we were not disappointed with the changes that have been made to the hotel. We were given a room with a great view of Loch Linnhe and found it... More

Lunch here was a real treat. Friendly staff and a good variety of food at reasonable prices. You can eat in the bar or at the Seafood Restaurant - I ate in the bar, sitting on a comfortable red leather couch by the window. It was blowing a gale outside but so warm and cosy inside. Service was quick and... More

Only one member of staff we dealt with could be classed as friendly. Many of those who served us food were unfriendly and quite cold towards us. The food is expensive for what it is, quite average but certainly not average prices. The fish and chips we had in a local fish and chip shop was a third of the... More

We stayed overnight sat/sun in January, it was fantastic, great quiet and peaceful location for walks. Hotel was lovely and clean, rooms were good sized and had fantastic views. The seafood restaurant was amazing, great fresh quality food however it is a bit pricey but you would pay more for that quality of food in the city centres anyway. Plus... More

Having read previous reviews we were looking forward to spending a night away in a lovely hotel. We were very disappointed with the room. Room1 should be avoided at all costs. It is very noisy, you can hear people from room above going to the toilet. You also hear all the noise from the staff in the corridor at night... More

Had dinner here last night. Fish and chips first class. Pity about the lack of vegetarian choices for our friends who have just moved into the area. Apparently it's the 3rd time they've eaten there and it's the 3rd time they've had to eat the same "pumpkin ravioli ". Not that it's not good, just a bit repetitive! Wasn't even... More

We decided to treat ourselves to a night here during our West Highland Way walking adventure and we're very glad we did. After a full day of walking, the indoor pool and sauna were just what we all needed. The rooms are lovely and the views are spectacular. An hour in the bar followed by a great meal in the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a stopover between Isle of Skye and Edinburgh. It was a fab stay - the view when we entered our room was simply amazing. Though the weather was a bit iffy (we were there during the storms), and we couldn't really enjoy sitting on the cozy balcony, the room was... More
