The lodges are fine inside, have all the equipment you need the main attraction is the stunning scenery from the balcony. With the Hotel being as close as well as the main road, it can be very noisy so we found trying to sleep sometimes was difficult, and there is no point trying for a nap during the day as... More

We come here every year, and last year I said that the lodges, although very comfortable, were looking'tired'.No longer true!! All the fitted furniture has been painted, very well painted, and the overall impression is very pleasing.Of course, the one constant here is the fabulous view that every lodge has,and as we were blessed with wonderful weather, this was magnified to 'ultra fabulous'.We also ate very well... Stayed here with family and friends, first-timers in the area, and I can trully say that we made a great decision to stay here. Staff are always warm and accomodating, facilities are the best. Whether you're staying in your lodge or going outdoor, it has all the means to keep you going. The swimming pool and sauna alone is enough... More

We were blessed with the best weather. Balcony actually over the water and huge french windows from living area looking out at one of the nicest views in the world! Also spotless. Hotel adjacent was good although the bar was a bit generic/characterless inside but again great views. Food and service were excellent though. Kids loved the swimming pool with... More

After a long day travelling, we found our beautiful haven to rest and unwind. Our private deck looking out over the tranquil loch is the perfect tonic with a glass of wine. As they say, if it is clear outside it may rain or if it is not clear, it is raining! We enjoyed rain, mist and sunshine and were... More

These cottages offer the best of both worlds. You have the seclusion of your own private space, with the access to the great food and pool/sauna at the hotel right next door. Staff are extremely friendly and help with any issue. Can't wait for next year already.

Frist, the view. Each lodge (there seemed to be eight of these), has an unrestricted view over the loch from a small balcony with table and chairs. The balcony is a great place to see the weather as is changes rapdily (this is Scotland!) from clear blue sky to snow (yes in May!). Beacuse of the way the lodges are... More

We have been coming here for many years, and the irresistible pull is the fabulous views and location! Over the years, improvements have been made to the properties, but they still have a 'tired' look.Bathrooms need re-grouting,kitchen utensils and crockery are 'minimal'and furniture needs up-dating to match other properties in the same price band.A huge PLUS,is the near-by hotel,Holly Tree, with its wonderful restaurant,,(...
