We spent several nights variously camping in garden, staying in luxurious hotel room, dining on tasty food, and sampling delicious local whiskies. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially in advising us on best way up a pap and on choosing whiskies.

This hotel is perfect in every way - very stylish yet understated, a quiet haven but bursting with information and help for one's every need. The food was scrumptious, the staff delightful and the views, including one day a complete rainbow from our bedroom window, was sublime.

Great hotel. Very easy to make the booking. This was the last stop on our islands cycle tour and the staff made us very welcome. We dropped off kit bags on our way north, stopping off for coffee and scones on the lawns outside the hotel. Fabulous views in the spring sunshine. The hotel made us up some sandwiches at... More

We enjoyed a 3 nights stay at the Jura Hotel in April 2015. Having stayed in hotels for business and leisure in many countries it's hard to find a hotel with a better combination of location, comfort and value for money. The room was spacious with a fantastic view as did the restaurant where the food was excellent and reasonably... More

Beautiful location, view from our bedroom was absolutely lovely. Bedroom has recently been refurbished. Beds so comfy, and huge. Best thing is no TV in the bedroom, completely switch off and relax. Beer garden has the best views ever. Dinner and breakfast very good in a nice restaurant. The staff were f riendly and professional. Definitely return. If you are... More

First time to Jura. Loved the hotel. Tastefully decorated rooms; wonderful sea view out over the bay. Friendly and attentive staff who made our stay very enjoyable. Hiked up Beinn an Oir.....cycled on Islay......watched an otter 'fish' in the Bay...... Highly recommend a trip to Jura....enjoy!

We stayed here last weekend and a very friendly welcome awaited us. The rooms were clean and airy with nice set out. The bar serves great local beer and the food is great too. Staff are ultra friendly and help us with ferry booking. Bonus to is the Jura distillery right behind if you fancy a tour and a dram.... More

Had a wonderful visit to Jura. The Jura Hotel, the only place on the island to stay if you are a holiday maker, is exceptional. Rather than rest on their laurels as the only-place-in-town, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic visit. The staff are attentive, polite and so helpful. There's plenty of information about... More

Good food, good service, lovely views. Can eat in side or out side - when the weather is good. (Just be aware of the midgies)!! Good ferry connection from the Island of Islay and good passenger ferry service to the mainland. Jura Distillery is a must visit and the Antlers Tea Room.

We decide to visit Jura for New Year 2014. The accommodation clean, smart and welcoming. The food was fantastic, with great service. The Jura Hotel is a great place to stay for a quiet weekend away or to explore the islands remote hill. I will definitely visit again!
