First time to Jura. Loved the hotel. Tastefully decorated rooms; wonderful sea view out over the bay. Friendly and attentive staff who made our stay very enjoyable. Hiked up Beinn an Oir.....cycled on Islay......watched an otter 'fish' in the Bay...... Highly recommend a trip to Jura....enjoy!

We stayed here last weekend and a very friendly welcome awaited us. The rooms were clean and airy with nice set out. The bar serves great local beer and the food is great too. Staff are ultra friendly and help us with ferry booking. Bonus to is the Jura distillery right behind if you fancy a tour and a dram.... More

Had a wonderful visit to Jura. The Jura Hotel, the only place on the island to stay if you are a holiday maker, is exceptional. Rather than rest on their laurels as the only-place-in-town, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a fantastic visit. The staff are attentive, polite and so helpful. There's plenty of information about... More

Good food, good service, lovely views. Can eat in side or out side - when the weather is good. (Just be aware of the midgies)!! Good ferry connection from the Island of Islay and good passenger ferry service to the mainland. Jura Distillery is a must visit and the Antlers Tea Room.

We decide to visit Jura for New Year 2014. The accommodation clean, smart and welcoming. The food was fantastic, with great service. The Jura Hotel is a great place to stay for a quiet weekend away or to explore the islands remote hill. I will definitely visit again!

Renovated to the highest standards, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed-in over the past few years. The staff are both helpful and friendly. The food & drink were of the highest standard and not over expensive.

I didn't stay in the hotel but had a drink in the pub a few times and ate in the lounge. Friendly and welcoming. Staff happy to help with local info and advice. Food good and reasonably priced. Good selection of Jura whisky also!

We had a good stay at the hotel. It's in a nice location and the staff was nice enough, except for one grumpy old-ish man who seemed to be there to roam the corridors and prejudge guest rather than make their stay a good one. The room was nicely decorated with state of the art facilities, unlike the bar which... More

My partner and I had a great two night stay at the Jura hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, with good advice about how to get up the Paps, and spot wildlife. Our room faced over the harbour, and was very clean, comfortable and warm. The food in the restaurant was delicious and fairly priced.

Have dined here many times and keep coming back. Staff always efficient and friendly- and the seafood served as it should be- simple and delicious. Keep an eye out for "A listers" who appear .... You just never know who you'll see! Says it all really :-)
