We recently stayed at Thistle House Guest House and were blown away by the location which is on loch Fyne with wonderful views over to Inveraray Castle. Our room was the highest quality of any guest house we have stayed in the past. The roaring log fire and complimentary dram of whisky is most welcoming after a full day out... more

I totally concur with the other reviews of Thistle House. We stayed there in November 2006 for three nights, and hated to leave. It was attractively decorated and comfortable, and the hosts Paul and Yvonne gracious and accommodating. The area of Scotland is beautiful, and a good location for touring both westward to the isles or north to the Highlands.... more

On the banks of Loch Fyne, this guest house is beautiful. We paid for the honeymoon suite and it was fantastic. Paul and Yvonne recommended dinner at Inver Cottage which was informal and lovely and well priced. we would gladly stay here again more

My husband and I stayed in this B&B for 3 nights. The owners (Paul and Yvonne) were very hospitable and welcoming. Guests not only have use of recently, beautifully, decorated bedrooms but also a very comfortable sitting room.
