Had heard mixed reviews about the newly revamped Airlie Arms food. Decided to try for ourselves. 6 adults for evening meal on Saturday night. Dining room modern and clean. Perhaps slightly dimmed lights would help and better background music but that is getting picky. Good choice of starter mains and sweet. All very reasonably priced. Our company had 5 different... Airlie Arms Hotel lovely friendly warm welcoming recently modernised hotel centrally positioned in the quaint red sand stone buildings town of Kirriemuir, I recently stayed to nights at the hotel on a twin room basis, the hotel itself is a well established old town building walking in the front door of the hotel you get the feeling of a recently... Visited this place today for a meal with Family. Very nice , decorated to a good standard. Staff were so friendly including the young waitress, who gave us very good service, nothing was tooooo much for her. After ordering our food, I can say it did take a little time to be served , but on arrival, it was clear... More

We stayed at the Airlie Arms in September for three nights. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, the room we stayed in was comfortable, not huge but adequate for our needs. Certainly it was quiet and the beds comfortable. Parking we used the Co Op next doors car park, our only hassle was road works causing a slight... More

This hotel has been brought back to its former glory by dedicated owners and staff. The rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. The food is awesome and the staff are very professional. The bar serves a wide variety of drinks and the bar meals are great value. The restaurant upstairs is excellent value for money and the menu is... More

The hotel is located on a walking street in the centre of the historic town of Kirriemuir. Known for being the "gateway to the glens" and famous for being the birthplace of J M Barrie, author of Peter Pan. The rooms are excellent and newly renovated with nice roomy bathrooms. A friendly welcoming staff are at hand 24/7 and a... More

Newly opened and refurbished after a fire the hotel is now better than ever! Visited the restaurant with family, party of 4 on first opening night, expected a few hiccups but although staff were all new everything went well. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all. Even a childrens menu which was approved of by my grandson, (age 12)... More

Popped in here for dinner when in the local area, so popular there was no room in the restaurant, so we had to eat in the bar. Lovely food at a good price, staff really friendly and attentive despite it being a really bust Saturday night. Will definitely be back!

Just got home from having dinner at the Airlie Arms Hotel, Kirriemuir and it was fantastic! The restaurant only opened last night (13/08/15) and the staff did so well. A lovely glass of prosecco on arrival with complimentary olives and bread just added a really lovely touch. We went with three young children who were very much accommodated for. Their... More
