We stayed at Purgavie farm in August and thought it was wonderful. Our trip around Scotland started with a few nights at Purgavie Farm which we thought was just the best. Since that first stay here we stayed at a few more B & B's but Purgavie came out as the top one., The room was lovely and homely with... More

We stayed at Purgavie farm in July and came north again in October for a family celebration. We decided to go back to Purgavie as it had been so comfortable the first time. We weren't let down! It is so quiet, with lovely views from the farm. We were made to feel very welcome. The offer of fresh milk and... More

We spent the first two nights of our 15 day UK trip at the Purgavie Farm. This jewel is nicely tucked away in the beautiful area surrounding Loch Lintrathen; amazingly we were able to find this spot with only a map supplied by the car rental company. Moira offers not just a room, but a lovely private suite with a... More

Our journey around Scotland started with two quiet nights at Purgavie Farm that we'd found easily and without GPS. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms, the rich breakfast (that sufficed for a whole day) and the nice talks with our host. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Moira Clark doesn't miss a trick. Her welcome is warm, the food excellent and her attention to detail most appreciated. This accommodation is as fine as any we stayed in during our visit to Scotland. We would not hesitate to return.

We really enjoyed our night at Purgavie Farm. The house overlooks charming Scottish countryside and makes for a peaceful stay close to Cairngorms National Park. The room was private and was nicely furnished with soft and fluffy linen. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed getting to know our host Moira. Would highly recommend this BnB

When I first arrived at Purgavie Farm with my gran we were so frustrated. I had never been told how to use the code for the GPS and by the time I figured it out I had been driving in circles for 40 minutes. It says located in Kirriemuir but it seems a fair distance from there. When we arrived... More

We stayed a night with Moira. This is a great place to stay in the country. Moira is a very obliging host. The facilities were very good and the breakfast was great. There are lots of activities available in the surrounding area. I went to Edradour Distillery and we also visited Pitlochly which is a great little town.

This is a proper working farm B&B and found the hospitality and food to be excellent. Breakfast consisted of local and homemade produce which was just excellent and together with Moira's local knowledge of what to see and do around the area it was just what we wanted!.There was no time-frame dictating how long we spent over breakfast, Moira made...
