Many thanks Ronnie. We had a wonderful 2 days with absolutely superb evening meals. You have such friendly helpful staff working in your hotel. They helped make our stay special. Our room was a superior room with fantastic views. Hope to see you again VERY soon. Thanks again Ronnie from David and Janis Crossan.

We stopped off in Braemar for a night's camping on a tour of Scotland and came across Braemar Lodge Hotel. (Only a 5 minute walk from the campsite.) The bothie / back bar is quaint with an open fire, tartan carpet, deer-heads on the wall and a crackin' ale and whisky selection. Exactly what you'd like and want in a... More

We had a family gathering here at the weekend, we stayed in lodges and ate dinner in the hotel at night, our meal was lovely, well presented and good quality food, we couldn'tt fault the service, it can be difficult serving a large party and the staff were very good, definitely return again.

Stayed at this hotel in December 2014 we booked a deluxe room that had beautiful views over the Cairngorms national park. We went down for dinner in the evening and started our night in the beautiful whisky bar that has hundreds of variety's of whisky and a roaring log fire. When we went for our dinner the dining room has... More

This was our second trip to the Cabins at Braemar for a quiet weekend break in March. The cabins are spotless, we were in number 7 which also had a bath. Everything needed for a self catering break is in the cabin and they are in very quiet grounds so its a very peaceful place, we will definitely be back.... More

This place might be perfect for people who come from the village like the hosts and do not expect great friendlyness or professional hospitility. It is what we call "a wannabe posh place" in Berlin. The price is really okay, but a look on the menu of the restaurant tells the whole story: baked fish and chicken salad, well... (Bye... More

we arrived at the hotel for one night and had a warm welcome at the front door from a lovely lady. very quick and straight check in. the room number 7 does need an update , namely better heating, and not much of a view. but it was pleasant and very clean. had a lovely meal at the restaurant the... Arrived to a somewhat confused reception. Restaurant was pre-booked so couldn't have dinner. Bar was full. So I stayed in the bunkhouse and made my own dinner. If rating as a hostel only it would get 5 stars. I would probably try again if passing through Braemar just to see if the evening was an anomaly.
