Been there for so many years, I can't remember. Have been alone, with family and with just the wife. We go for the relaxing pace, friendly down-to-earth atmosphere, old fashioned ambiance - and all at reasonable prices. All this combines to make everyone who stays feel like one of the family. The food is really good for such a small... more

Very rude managers of hotel. I'de paid 75.00 pound for a double room and also 13.00 for a bunkhouse room for my friend. made to feel very unwelcome when we arrived by bikes. asked the son of manager if we could leave our bikes undercover as there was a severe weather warning and it was pouring of rain. he seemed... more

Just spent 2 nights here as was attending a wedding at Braemar castle. the hotel is well placed in the village and its easy to wander and explore. A quaint hotel with victorian style rooms, very spacious and all the in room facilities you need for a short stay. The window had been opened before our arrival as it was... more

We had the chance to stay in the small cabins next to the building itself. It's just the perfect place if you are a group of people or a family and want to spend your evening by yourself. Our little lodge called "Glenlivet" was clean and really nicely furnished. There was a kitchen and everything to cook for the evening... more

Braemar and the Braemar Lodge are situated in one of the most beutiful places in Scotland and it seems all in the Village want to keep it for themselves. Braemar Lodge proved a serious anomaly on our golfing trip of Scotland. The attitude of the staff at the lodge was less than helpful, no eating in the bar, no food... more

Whilst the poor little shower needed at tad more pressure, the welcome was simple and the room was cosy. Best of all was the evening experience of drinks in the cosy bar and excellent meal and this was followed by a well cooked tasty breakfast, all of which were provided with the personal touch of the owners and their attentive... more

4 couples stayed at Braemar Lodge in Braemar, Scotland. Located just on edge of town (2 min walk to town center) -- great rooms; great little bar; great owners & food was best we had in Scotland! more
