We went to the Braemar Lodge Hotel to attend the Wedding of Ali & Michael Tait. I can only say the wedding meal was first class and fantastic. We decided to extend our stay in one of the cabins for a further 5 days and the hosts & staff were really accommodating and really quick to help us if we... More

I've lost count of how many times we have stayed in the fantastic Braemar lodges. At least 3 times a year for the last 7 years. They are quaint wooden lodges fitting the location perfectly with amazing views. We have stayed in every season, including a full week every November and they heat really well even in the harsh Braemar... More

Home from home in the Highlands - small functional, no frills hotel delivering all you need with an excellent restaurant and the most helpful staff. This is a great location for exploring this area of the Scottish Highlands.

Stayed for the week in one of the lodges while on a walking holiday and as such it was spot on and very much fit for purpose; clean comfortable and warm and with a separate communal drying room for when the weather was bad. The only minor quibble I’d have about the lodge, and it’s the same for almost all... More

We didn't stay at the Lodge because it was full but we had the MOST AMAZING dinner there. Can't recommend the food more highly. And the whisky collection is EPIC. The service was super friendly too. Visit!

We had two cabins for a weekend for a total of 13 people aged 5-73. the cabins were clean and contained everything we needed. there is a grassy area in the front where the kids could play and run around. We could walk into town and to the play area. The food in the lodge was very good although we... More

We stopped over at the Braemar Lodge hotel on the way North from Perth to Elgin and booked into the last of the available twin bedded cabins. We ate in the restaurant, and thoroughly enjoyed our high quality dinners, the desserts must be seen to be believed ! The hotel stocks a good range of local ales to sample too.... More

We stopped off in Braemar for a night's camping on a tour of Scotland and came across Braemar Lodge Hotel. (Only a 5 minute walk from the campsite.) The bothie / back bar is quaint with an open fire, tartan carpet, deer-heads on the wall and a crackin' ale and whisky selection. Exactly what you'd like and want in a... More
