We had a three night stay as a group of three friends staying in two rooms as a base to do some skiing and mountain biking from in early March. We had an excellent time and the b&b is brilliant overall. The main thing that was so great were the hosts who were fantastic and very helpful in dealing with... More

Great value place to stay for our yearly 3 day ski trip to Glenshee. Very chatty hosts. Wonderful breakfast, a good night sleep guaranteed.. Good drying room for ski gear which we didn't even need this year due to the sunny weather. we'll definitely be going again.

Almost at the end of our 2 weeks Higlands tour, backing down from west and northern coast, we missed the warmth and genuinity of the Others B&B (even luxury ones) The room was simple but ok and wide. Only minus a low bathroom door Breakfast was just normal. The big minus is that you have no chance in feeling at... More

We are sorry you did not feel welcome with us at Craiglea Bed & Breakfast. We strive to make our guests feel welcome and have re-introduced a warm welcoming drink and home bake on arrival so we can talk to the guests and get to know them. We are also in the process of re-introducing a guest lounge. Angela &... More

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights, and found Craiglea a lovely B&B option for exploring the Royal Deeside. Warm welcome; cozy, tidy room with comfortable bed; great big bathtub; nice location to walk to the town (though there's not too much there/open in late December); good breakfast; and helpful advice from Dave as to where to walk in... We are very glad you enjoyed your stay with us at Craiglea bed & breakfast. We strive to make our guests feel very welcome when here and we are very pleased with your positive feed back. Sorry about the spotty WIFI. We have now addressed this by putting in a booster to boost the signal to the room you were... More

We had 3 nights in Craiglea B&B back in March and used it as a base to try our the near by skiing. Just bear in mind this is a B&B not a 5* hotel and you'll stay happy! Our room was nice and spacious for the two of us (although I do think it was the biggest available) and... More

Slightly cramped room, with dripping tap and questionable layout, more than made up for by welcoming and friendly hosts. Well positioned for local facilities, and as a base for travelling. Overall I would certainly recommend.

If you expect to sleep comfortably in a "Double", you might be slightly disappointed. We did not sleep... Breakfast is, if compared with other B&Bs weithin the same price range, again disappointing. Do not think you might go collecting mushrooms in the forrest and have it cooked for breakfast, even if you are promised to get it. You will get,... More

We spent two nights in Braemar, in two different B&B for the same price, so my advice is a bit biased. Following a mishap in our reservation for the first night, we ended up in Craiglea who welcomed us very nicely even though we had no booking. We had a twin room, and it was a bit small for two... We travelled to Braemar on a photographic holiday and stayed at Craiglea from 21st June to the 28th June, we found it to be a lovely B & B with extremely nice hosts. Dave and Angela are friendly, informative and very helpful. Dave told us of some great spots for photography and how to get there. We had room 3... More

We found our room extremely small and not up to the standard of most of the other B and B's we visited on our trip to the UK. The hosts were very friendly, the breakfast good, and they appeared to be trying hard. Were helpful at suggesting local hikes etc. however, that could not overcome the postage sized room which...
