We travelled to Braemar on a photographic holiday and stayed at Craiglea from 21st June to the 28th June, we found it to be a lovely B & B with extremely nice hosts. Dave and Angela are friendly, informative and very helpful. Dave told us of some great spots for photography and how to get there. We had room 3... More

We found our room extremely small and not up to the standard of most of the other B and B's we visited on our trip to the UK. The hosts were very friendly, the breakfast good, and they appeared to be trying hard. Were helpful at suggesting local hikes etc. however, that could not overcome the postage sized room which... I stayed here in May 2014. I'd been on a long days walk and was very tired. I arrived at the B&B, and as other reviewers mentioned, the owner Dave needs to learn more people skills if he intends to carry on working with people ! I was on my own and was told they only had a double room... More

We are sorry Richard that you felt that the price for the room was too expensive and that I was not very accommodating. The room that you had (Room 5) is on the small side unfortunately but that was the only room we had left available on that particular evening. It is classed as an en-suite double room. We have... We have just returned from a lovely weekend in the Glenshee area and stayed here. Lovely bed and breakfast providing everything we were looking for - comfy beds, great location for Braemar and close to the skiing at Glenshee, hot showers, free wifi, parking and good breakfast. We had room 6 which is quite a small en suite twin but... More

Very difficult b&b to find as the house had no name showing. Comfortable room and bed. Fairly large en suite, but an awful shower that just came out as a weak dribble! Pleasant dining room and a very good breakfast. The owner was friendly and cheerful. V

Stayed at Craiglea before climbing Derry Cairngorm. This is a walker and cyclist friendly B&B. The bed was very comfy, the room had a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free wi fi. The en-suite bathroom was quite small and on the cold side. David and Angela, were very accommodating by cooking us an early breakfast, which was very... More

We were in Braemar for a wedding at mar lodge so needed a room for 2 nights. The room was huge with a double bed and 2 singles, it was clean and comfortable, bathroom seemed fairly new. We met friends on the Friday who were all staying in the fife arms hotel and by comparison our B and B was... More

Steep flight of stairs to room Number 1. Large room, double bed and a large, bright bathroom with bath and separate shower cubical. Rest of the house, entrance, stairs, and garden all in much need of careful tender loving care. Unremarkable breakfast. Advertsied that they had free WiFi, which was one of the attractive choices when I booked, but it... More
