We spent two lovely nights at this very comfortable B&B. Liz and Andy were wonderful hosts, sharing with us their local knowledge. Rooms very clean and comfortable and we started each day with a hearty Scottish breakfast. Highly recommend staying here.

Loved our stay. Enjoyed the conversations we had with our hosts Liz and Andy. The furnishings in our room were perfect. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was very good, no waiting involved. Great suggestions on where to eat. Strongly recommend staying at Callater Lodge with its warm hospitality.

Our thanks to Andy and Liz for a sod earful 3 day stay at their B&B in beautiful Braemar. The rooms are not huge, but they have everything you could need and are very comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was very filling and a good way to start the day. I would also like to complement Liz's cooking.... Still the... More

We just stayed here one night but enjoyed it and would stay again. Andy told us a great walk to go on that was close by so we could stretch our travel legs and also made good suggestions for supper. The room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good and the tea hot and strong as it... More

We chose to stay here for a week for a walking holiday, encouraged by the positive reviews, and they are all true! Liz and Andy were perfect hosts, warm and friendly, the room was generously proportioned, very clean and comfortable; breakfasts were delicious and there are numerous local walks. Andy was happy to suggest a few that didn't appear in... More

We stayed at Callater Lodge for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier. Andy kindly stayed up late to let us in after our late flight and got us settled quickly in a lovely room with plenty of space for all our kit and a bath I knew I was going to appreciate after skiing. The food was great. Plenty... More

I stayed at the Callater Lodge Guest House with my boyfriend for three nights. It was exceptional value for money and we will be returning very soon. The location was fabulous being just 5-10 minutes from the biggest ski resort in the UK. Perfect for us. We were given a fabulously friendly welcome by Liz and Andy who were perfect... More

Upon arrival, Liz & Andy (Andy’s hair is pretty awesome) welcomed us with a great big smile. Not only did they provide a clean, comfortable, cozy room, they also helped us avoid eating at a terrible restaurant. The restaurant they recommended also happened to be their choice of place to dine that evening. After a few drinks, we stumbled across... More

Superb B&B, with a friendly welcome, comfortable room and good breakfast. House was warm and had an excellent drying room which is essential for damp-snowsports in Scotland :) We only stayed for two nights (would have been three, taking advantage of the 3 for 2 midweek offer, but the weather caught us out) and I would happily have stayed longer....
