We stayed for four nights at this lovely B&B. Andy and Liz are superb hosts - very efficient and friendly. They provided lots of information on local facilities (right down to recommending particular dishes at nearby restaurants - which were spot on!), lent us an OS map for the duration of our stay and made us feel really welcome. Breakfasts... More

We spent two very pleasant nights here recently. Liz and Andy were very welcoming and happy to provide recommendations and advice. The room was clean and comfortable although ours was a little small. Breakfast was very good too.

Only spent one night here (this time), and it was very nice. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere... lovely hosts... and a great breakfast! Everything was nice and clean, and for a single room, very spacious.

We spent two lovely nights at this very comfortable B&B. Liz and Andy were wonderful hosts, sharing with us their local knowledge. Rooms very clean and comfortable and we started each day with a hearty Scottish breakfast. Highly recommend staying here.

Loved our stay. Enjoyed the conversations we had with our hosts Liz and Andy. The furnishings in our room were perfect. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was very good, no waiting involved. Great suggestions on where to eat. Strongly recommend staying at Callater Lodge with its warm hospitality.

Our thanks to Andy and Liz for a sod earful 3 day stay at their B&B in beautiful Braemar. The rooms are not huge, but they have everything you could need and are very comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was very filling and a good way to start the day. I would also like to complement Liz's cooking.... Still the... More

We just stayed here one night but enjoyed it and would stay again. Andy told us a great walk to go on that was close by so we could stretch our travel legs and also made good suggestions for supper. The room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good and the tea hot and strong as it... More

We chose to stay here for a week for a walking holiday, encouraged by the positive reviews, and they are all true! We stayed at Callater Lodge for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier. Andy kindly stayed up late to let us in after our late flight and got us settled quickly in a lovely room with plenty of space for all our kit and a bath I knew I was going to appreciate after skiing. The food was great. Plenty... More
