Dalmore house is in the perfect position right in the centre of the village. Clean and comfortable, great breakfast and Marilyn and Richard have a wealth of knowledge of the area. A must stay if you are exploring the highlands.

I've stayed here a couple of times now while skiing at Glenshee. Last time I was with my 7 year old son. Richard and Marilyn are very hospitable and run an excellent B&B. The rooms are comfortable and warm and the breakfast is fantastic.

My husband and myself had a long weekend here in my half term break. the room was comfortable, very clean and had everything we could need. The breakfasts where fantastic and I know my husband particularly enjoyed the venison sausages. B&B is centrally located and has parking. The rooms were a good size, not the most modern but had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The owners Richard and Marilyn were very welcoming and Richard was knowledgable about local walks. Breakfast was great with a large selection to choose from and cooked to order.

We stayed for one night whilst in the area for hill walking. Richard and Marilyn were very welcoming. Both rooms were spotless, well decorated and comfortable. There was a TVand free WiFi available which was a great bonus. The B&B was very centrally located with parking available. Richard was very helpful in providing information about local walks and also a... More

My son and I greatly enjoyed our four nights at Dalmore House. Richard and Marilyn made us feel very welcome and feed us royally at breakfast. We went primarily to climb Munros and found that Dalmore House has all the facilities needed to service the keen walker (drying room, local knowledge and wisdom!) as well as the modern city dweller... We stayed at Dalmore House for only two nights, but received a very warm welcome from Richard and Marilyn who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room was comfortable and spotless, the breakfast was fantastic and we were given very helpful advice on walks in the local area. Braemar is a great base for... More

I returned yesterday from four nights with a friend at Dalmore House. Not only is it really well placed for the many interesting wildlife sites we wished to visit but Marilyn and Richard are ideal hosts, helped by Nell the collie of course. The room was just right, the bed most comfortable, I slept better than I did at home,... More

Braemar is the ideal town if you want travel along the Castle Trail, and Dalmore House is the ideal b&b if you're looking for tranquillity, a warm welcome, all the suggestions you need about the area and some woof wooofs and wag tails. I was welcomed by Marilyn, Richard and Nell, the cute cute family border collie :) If you're... More

I stayed here over the weekend of my brother's wedding. Both Richard and Marilyn were very accomadating and took a genuine interest in how our stay was. They could not of been more welcoming. Excellent breakfast. And the whole stay was very reasonably priced. Would stay here again.
