We stayed here for 2 nights for a friends wedding which was held at Glenbervie House. Our room was in the castle which is a beautiful building! but needs tlc. The wallpaper had seen better days and the bathroom needs regrouting and a spruce up. All the staff were lovely and food was lovely. If a little money was spent... More

Had our sixth successful stay at Airth Castle. Our haven when my husband and I want to get away from the stress of everyday life. On our visit this time we came across a member of staff called Michael, he worked in the bar. He was so welcoming and very very attentive. Impeccable manners too and I told him so!... More

Stayed here as a valentines surprise we weren't in the castle as booked we were in a dirty building with carpet on the walls filled with dust everywhere (you could write your name on the bedside cabinet) we had to leave early as the dust made me have an asthma attack!

Not because its so terrible, just that its so far from what it pretends to be, it sells itself as a spa resort.. Well it isn't, the 'spa' is tiny and barely qualifies, the rooms are poorly designed and have the same tired decor of 10 years ago, the last time i was there. The walls are paper thin and... More

Airth castle is stunning but it's food doesn't quite live up to it's beautiful surroundings. Four of us had afternoon tea and were all in agreement that we had had better. The sandwiches lacked pizzazz and the cakes were just defrosted having been taken out the freezer a few hours earlier. A place like this should be making everything fresh... More

Wonderful stay! From the moment you go along the driveway you fell like your in an episode of Downton Abbey! The Hotel is both historic and beautiful, and has been preserved thoughtfully by its owners. I booked one of the rooms in the main castle and was not disappointed! Huge Bed, Huge Windows and views that were amazing, The Pool... More

Stayed overnight when attending a wedding, no major complaints about the hotel but at £120 for a twin room, and that was wedding rates, it was way overpriced, the furniture in the room was very tired as was the bathroom but the bed was very comfy. In saying that the meal at the wedding was lovely and there was plenty... More

We decided to stay here last minute for a couple of nights in August as we were on holiday. We were actually supposed to be camping up the west coast that week but the weather was so bad there we didn't go. So we just wanted to get away somewhere to chill. I got a reasonable dinner, bed and breakfast... More

We visited Airth Castle for a family wedding and stayed overnight, we arrived from the wedding ceremony before the main party and were welcomed by a short man in kilt, we were told to leave our luggage in the entrance hall of the main castle this was a big mistake as we had more than ample time to check in...
