Everything good and excellent written about Margaret and Sandy and Staffa on Trip Advisor is spot on! This place deserves an award from the Trip Advisor group! They should have the seal of approval in the window. We stayed here for our 1st night, took the Ferry over to Lochmaddy so I could run the 1/2 Marathon, then taking Ferry... More

If you are looking for a cosy B&B with magic sea view, lively hosts, great breakfast, and immaculate rooms and in walking distance to the next pub - it does not get any better than at this place. Margaret and Sandy have been great hosts and we loved our time at Cuil Lodge. Last mention has to go to Staffa, the... More

We had a great stay at Cuil Lodge. Sandy and Margaret were very helpful from the first minute we arrived, plenty of tips and suggestions on what to see or do in the Isle of Skye. Margaret's shortbreads, tablets and breakfast are a delight. The room was very comfortable, with great views of the bay. And Staffa is such a... More

Had a most enjoyable 2 day stay here. Sandy and Margaret spoiled us with their warm hospitality and made us feel very welcome - not forgetting Staffa! Lovely home, spotless with fabulous views over Uig harbour. Very comfortable bedroom and ensuite. Delicious breakfasts and great help and advice on places to visit. Would definately recommend to stay here though we... More

This is one of the best stays in a B & B that my husband and I have experienced. Upon arrival, Sandy immediately greeted us at the car and assisted with our heavy luggage. As soon as we went inside, he offered us tea and some of Margaret's delicious homemade cake. They were both so warm and inviting that we... More

In our week long vacation to Scotland we picked this B&B for our stay in the Isle of Skye and I'm so glad we did. The hospitality and breakfast were only exceeded by the warm and delightful conversations of this interesting couple.

We stayed here for 2 nights with friends from America and were made to feel most welcome. The house has lovely views across the bay towards the small harbour. The rooms were clean warm and comfortable. We had use of the sitting room to watch TV. Sandy and his wife, Margaret, welcomed us with lovely tea and coffee with home... More

Staying with Sandy and Margaret was just like staying with friends. From the moment we arrived till our departure they made us feel at home. Margaret somehow finds time to make delicacies which she showered upon us which made departing all the more difficult. (They even say they have an otter below the garden! We didn't see it).

Sandy and Margaret are warm and knowledgeable. During our short visit, they sent us on a few great excursions to Fairy Glen, the Quirang, and Folly Restaurant. Their house feels like a home (with spotless rooms and beautiful views of the bay), and we hope to return one day!
