Stayed at Christine and Kevin's lovely hideaway in May on a stopover to Harris. The room was comfortable and a hearty breakfast set us up for our ferry ride to Tarbert. Had a chat to Christine about painting and we all had a catch up on Ramsbottom!! Thank you - highly recommended.

We had a lovely time at this B&B. If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay that is off the busy main roads of Skye, then this is perfect. Christine and Kevin were very welcoming and from the moment we arrived it had a very homely feel. The rooms were the kind that you could happily while away... More

Our three night stay was booked as a stepping stone to our main holiday on Harris but we could happily have spent an entire week here. Christine and Kevin were excellent hosts. Christine's breakfasts are superb with her personal specials -a great alternative to the traditional breakfasts also on offer. Kevin is a mine of information regarding local island walks... More

We booked in here for one night to be near the Uig ferry to Harris. As soon as we saw the house and its location we wished we had booked for longer, and hadn't changed our minds when we had to leave the next day. We received a warm welcome, despite interrupting our hosts' dinner, and were given comprehensive guidance... More

Wonderful. Just wonderful. My girlfriend and I went here August '12 and were blown away by every aspect of this place. First off, it's cute beyond words. The breakfast area is a perfect start to every morning and unlike must B&Bs there, they give you a special in addition to the traditional Scottish breakfast, but always delicious. Lovely. The location... More

What a wonderful, secluded place to stay during our tour of Scotland. Kevin and Christine are wonderful, friendly hosts. Beautiful home and surrounding scenery. Very quiet area for a good night's sleep after traveling. Ducks, chickens and cats all around. Great breakfast. Don't stay in a hotel in Portree when you can stay here. Highly recommended.

We booked Garybuie so as to be close to the Uig ferry to Lewis in the morning. It is well off the beaten track, down a single track road away from the coast, and is of a very high standard. Christine & Kevin were welcoming and helpful. The room was thoughtfully arranged, and the breakfast "special" really was special! Recommended.

This place is hamesing. Beautiful, spotless and quite. It makes you feel like home away from home. Christine and Kevin helped us to plan our day and chose where to eat. Their indications made our stay perfect. Breackfast is homemade with their fresh eggs and well cooked and presented. The beautiful veranda where you can stay is perfect for Scotland:... More

We (2 couples) arrived at this lovely B&B and were warmly welcomed by Christine and Kevin. They suggested places and restaurants and helped us in any way. If you plan going to that part of Skye, book there! Clean and nice rooms, it is quite and you will find nice hosts. And yes, the breakfast ist tasty and good, and... More
