Arriving in the late evening we were able to check into our room straight away which was good as it had been a large day driving. Hotel was warm, clean and inviting, although does have a bit of a older style look. Our room had a lovely view overlooking the bay/port of Uig. Room had all the bits and bobs... More

Arrived an hour earlier than the check in time not expecting the place to be locked up tight, thought we could at least have used the bar, can't even leave your bags, found that strange. Rooms are clean but basic and the restaurant food is okay. Easier to eat here than drive around looking for something else. A little bit... More

Having booked the late ferry from Harris, we were looking for a place to stay close to the terminal. The Ferry Inn is the first choice. The place is a little bit outdated but clean and..... Despite the overwhelming advertising for free Wifi, there is only half an hour free per room, which is quite disappointing. You can buy additional... More

We decided to stay at the Ferry Inn again on our island hopping tour round Scotland as we had guested there before and were very pleased with our previous stay. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed, before being shown to our room. After checking in my partner had a couple of delicious cold pints in the bar... More

Stayed here for one night, room was clean in ok location. Staff service was average nothing standing out bad or good. Food in resturant was lovely however £9.50 for breakfast was a rip off. £80 for the room is too much.

This hotel may have a good location for the ferry and the view, but it is overpriced. Room was comfortable enough but lots of things need updating . Staff were satisfactory . They did not seem to have a good team bonding and anxiety of trainees was obvious. I left before breakfast for the ferry , but found it unbelievable... More

We booked this hotel for a business trip and cancelled again due to it being postponed within 12 hours of the booking, the cancellation was 48 hours in advance We were charged 100% cancellation fee although we were told 99% of cancellations were free, we much just have been the unlucky 1% eh! Anyway the deed is done but the... More

I stayed at the Ferry Inn with my partner for two nights while touring Skye. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was ample parking in front of the hotel. We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant on both nights. The waiting staff were friendly and suggested that we may like to take our drinks outside. I'm glad we... More

The best thing about this meal was the staff - the waitress was pleasant and helpful. The surroundings were drab and uninspired and not exactly sparkling clean. It wasn't even obvious where the restaurant entrance was - we had to be directed from the pub end of the building. A closed door doesn't offer a great welcome to strangers. As... More
