We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, wonderful experience. Made very welcome by the staff, nothing too much trouble. Stayed in the main hotel, overlooking the sea with wonderful views. Arrived at the hotel after a long drive from London. We stayed in the Annex. The room was lovely and well appointed, bright and clean with views over the bay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Considering the price of accomodation in the Uig (approx 90 UKP per room per night), I do not consider the rooms in the ugly 70s annexe to be good value for money. The rooms are sparsely furnished with small windowless bathrooms and ancient avocado-green bath/toilet units. Arrived after a wonderous drive up the East Coast of Skye, The old coaching Inn which I last stayed at 12 years ago still retains it Victorian ambiance.
