I have come to the conclusion after two sleepless nights that the owner is vampire. Let me explain: For starters BE READ Although the announcement because ALL that is written in it says to opinion of the owner, not 4 stars, no wifi no bathroom in the room, and breakfast will be trying to sell the 5 minutes of arrival... We were due to stay at this B&B for two nights last week but after the truly bad experience we had we ended up leaving after the first night to find alternative accommodation. The ONLY positive thing to say about it, is that the surrounding countryside is truly awe inspiring. I would highly recommend that everyone visit Skye as it... More

Arriving at the Bayside Gallery at 6pm at night (because you weren't allowed to check in before then) we were looking forward to decent accommodation (as it was classed as a 4 star deal) and a good nights rest. Alarm bells started to ring when a dirty/damp smell could be noticed in the bedroom and Mary's request for the £198.00p... More

Although the decor ( as just mentioned) May not be of usual taste, although the cleanliness and the dumpness could be justified, although the room is overpriced (138£!!) it is not acceptable that Six guests were left abandoned in the morning with no breakfast and no assistance and no number to call. At the end of the day, after many... More

We stayed here earlier this year whilst touring Skye. The views ftkm both the dining room and bedroom was amazing of the bag of Uig. The room was clean, bright, and good value. Breakfast in the morning was good, with choice of continental or Cooked breakfast which was great and kept you going for the adventures ahead. I would stay... More

At first I had very nice email exchange with Mary. When we arrive we found the place easily. Nice location - nothing to say. BUT : Mary explained me on email that for one night she couldnt rent us the basic room and that we had to book the more expensive room - £ 130, got a discount of 10... More

Thank you for your review.in response we would like to make the following constructive comments. yes indeed the room is extremely spacious and much larger than most expensive hotel rooms. It is also furnished tastefully with extremely expensive brand new Laura Ashley furniture from their top of the range charlston glass furniture. The bed too is by Laura Ashley and is... More

The B&B was basic but suited our purpose well. The hosts (Mary and Mark) were friendly and helpful especially in arranging our stay over the internet from Australia. If you want 5 star go elsewhere but if a comfortable night sleep in an interesting house with nice people is your cup of tea then this will suit you well. My... More

The drive to this B and B is beautiful and worth doing. It directly faces the bay at Uig which is nice enough. The rooms looked fine, but we had problems with a few things. The rooms were dusty and did not feel clean. For example we had an old rusty nail brush hanging around in the bathroom, two used... More

Thank you for your views.May i start by saying we very hurt by the implication in your respose that the description of our property is in any way deliberately inaccurate. We prefer to think that our ability in our writing has been used to inspire a visit to our truly unique location and it is most unfair to imply otherwise. The b&b is in a lovely location overseeing the lake and you can see the harbour from the front from. The only downside is the breakfast offered! On the website it doesn't state that the breakfast includes vegetarian sausages and no bacon! Some full Scottish breakfast! Not a problem if you are a vegetarian! I just think it would be... More

t Thank you for your views.you will be pleased to learn that as a new business we have responded by reviewing our breakfast menu, which now includes bacon and sausage as part of our cooked choices. # Most people visiting Skye like to explore as much as possible and rarely want to stay in their rooms all day. However if there...
