We stayed here at the beginning of April and were in the Johnson room. The views were spectacular . The room was really comfortable and well appointed, complete with the sherry, cake and fruit. We were made to feel welcome by everyone. The food was out of this world. Wonderful. As an overall dining experience we reckon better than theThree Chimneys. The service was... more

Just back from a weekend break at Ullinish, after seeing all the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. Very happy to say the Ullinish Lodge fully lived up to expectations on every front! Things to comment on - great setting and location with outstanding views; spacious, well equipped rooms with much more character that you often see; very friendly and efficient service... more

We chose this hotel due to the previous comments made and believe the last reviewer's comments to mirror our experience. We have just had 3 days at this hotel, and agree that the hotel is run superbly. Anyone who is looking to set up a small hotel should stay and watch how it should be done. In respect of the... more

From The Marshalls in FIfe We stayed at The Ullinish lodge Hotel on 1st 2nd and 3rd October this year. We had the Bracadale room which was beautiful and had magnificent views. As well as the tea tray we had a small decanter of sherry, fruit sweets and home made tablet. As we were on a D/B/B rate we ate... more

What i liked about this place apart from the obvious (great location and food) is how new it all seemed. I don't know how long it has been since it's last refurb but it's very well kitted out for a lodge on the edge of now where. As part of a mini tour round Scotland we stayed in a few... more

Having enjoyed our first stay here, my wife and I recently stayed for three nights as part of our holiday in Scotland, and very nice it was too. The room was nice and clean, the proprietors and staff were all really friendly and provided a great service, and the food was lovely. And all of of this in a stunning... more

The Howard's are excellent hosts! The hotel is in a very scenic location and has an excellent restaurant--an important consideration when you book on the remote Isle of Skye. Our room was beautifully appointed (although they do not provide bathrobes which I think they should add) and even included sherry to take the chill off. more

We booked two nights in March. Accomodation was pleasant enough, although there seemed to be lots of rules about what you could or couldn't do, and I didnt like the idea of non-refundable deposits etc., for whatever reason. We had booked dinner at £39.00 each. Canapes were bar bits and pieces, ie pork scratchings, nuts and crisps - and this... more

We have just returned from a three night stay at the Ullinish County Lodge and enjoyed a very special time that will always be remembered. 'Exactly as it says on the tin' - a small, comfortable and relaxed home from home and well worth the journey. Expect excellent hospitality and service and you won't be disappointed. Brian and Pam extend... more

We have just enjoyed a week at Ullinish Lodge, and had a superb time. The hotel is excellent; Pam and Brian create an atmosphere that is friendly and totally relaxing, and we can't think of anything that could have been bettered. We booked before reading the review posted on 6th February and were a little concerned by the comment about... more
