Foxwood B&B is located in a remote region of the Isle of Skye close to the sea--ideal for getting away from it all and exploring the western part of this beautiful Island. The hostess, Jo, is very helpful and hospitable. She made us restaurant reservations, suggested places to eat, and has even put together suggested itineraries for things to do/see... More

We chose this B&B using the Vegetarian Society Guide to Scotland. The location is really a bit special, with views of the Cuillin in the distance. Firstly, the breakfast was wonderful, we really couldn't ask for more, a superb choice of items, nothing was too much trouble, Jo was the perfect host, who proved to be incredibly knowledgeable about all... We chose this vegetarian B&B on our friends’ recommendation, although we are not vegetarians. However Jo’s breakfasts were just great, with an exceptional selection of most delicious food. The home is spacious and cozy, and views from the bedroom and the living room are amazing. I’ve never seen so much useful tourist information provided to the guests. You can have... More

We chose this place mainly for it being Vegetarian. Finding the place wasn't difficult, there is a A road right up to about a mile from the B&B. Well you have to pass a cattle grid and drive on a not very nice road to get right up to the B&B but isn't something to be concerned about. Jo is... More

Come all ye Faithful! Come all ye Pilgrim Souls, lovers of nature, over the sea or over the bridge to Skye! Be seduced by the ravishing beauty of the Isle of Skye. The breathtaking and dramatic interplay between land and sea, mountains and lochs is mindblowing! All the more intense because it is encompassed within a relatively small island. This... More

As a vegan, travelling outside London can be a daunting experience. Finding restaurants and accommodation that cater for a vegan diet can be very difficult. When planning a holiday to Skye, we wanted to stay at The Old Croft vegetarian B&B but they were full and recommended we try Foxwood which is also a vegetarian B&B. Foxwood is run by... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in August. Fantastic location. Jo was a great host with a wealth of local knowledge. Would recommend Foxwood for anyone looking for peace and tranquility in the Isle of Skye. Had a great meal at the The Old School Restaurant in Dunvegan.....although you must book before hand.

The B&B is really outlying and you can enjoy the wonderful landscape and calm. Jo is very kind and gives you many suggestions what to do on Skye. The breakfast is great and the rooms are large enough. We were not lucky with the weather and had the only rainy day during our vacation, but enjoyed it anyway.

What a lovely experience. Beautiful setting, Very nice and knowledgeable friendly family running B&B. Lovely breakfast. Very comfortable spacious rooms with amazing relaxing views from all round. Felt like I was at my aunties I used to visit up north east Scotland many years ago. The room is more like a guest room at a relatives and that's what makes... More
