Based on the atmosphere in the house, the friendly people and the landscape this was definately the best place, we visited in Scotland (out of 8). The breakfast was outstanding. Nice large room with beauteful view. We cryed, when we left. We WILL be back. For much longer....

The B&B is really outlying and you can enjoy the wonderful landscape and calm. Jo is very kind and gives you many suggestions what to do on Skye. The breakfast is great and the rooms are large enough. We were not lucky with the weather and had the only rainy day during our vacation, but enjoyed it anyway.

What a lovely experience. Beautiful setting, Very nice and knowledgeable friendly family running B&B. Lovely breakfast. Very comfortable spacious rooms with amazing relaxing views from all round. Felt like I was at my aunties I used to visit up north east Scotland many years ago. The room is more like a guest room at a relatives and that's what makes... More

In 2011 I went to Skye for the very first time in my life and me and my bf were extremely happy to find such a good B&B like Foxwood. I agree the host is very knowledgeable about the place where she lives, she can provide you with a lot of details on Skye life, amusements and wildlife it offers.... More

Very comfortable stay with an extremely knowledgeable and friendly host, who offers as much or as little conversation as you wish. Detailed maps and instructions were provided to help get the most from the island and significantly enhanced the experience. Rooms are well appointed ith a wonderful shared living space and a particularly generous breakfast.

Jo is helpful but unobtrusive, a warm welcome awaits, good local advice and educated perspective on the area. Comfortable, warm and superb views. Good walkers breakfast that will keep you going to mid-afternoon! Spaacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent panorama from the lounge.

We have been to Skye many times, but usually climbing the mountains. We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the fantastic views and surrounding countryside/sea/wildlife, all pointed out to us by Jo Fox, who is a lovely lady and very eager to help in any way she can. She provided us with detailed maps... More

Jo Fox and her daughter have a home with a view of the Black Cuillins. While we were there the weather was rather changeable but we did see the wonderful view from our bedroom. Jo provides a home from home and makes you feel very welcome. The menu for breakfast is vegetarian but as she provides vegetarian sausage and eggs... More
