The hotel is in an isolated position in the far north of Skye, with stunning views. This was a very international experience with visitors from all over the world, the owners from Holland and many of the staff from eastern europe. Apparently Skye can not supply sufficient local labour. This is by no means a criticism however, the staff were... More

Great first impression. Warm welcome to what seemed a lovely hotel. But everything came crashing down at breakfast. We were sitting for ten minutes before the waiting staff noticed us. Twenty minutes later our tea/coffee and toast had not arrived, though other guests had their orders taken and their tea/coffee and toast arrived immediately. We had to ask for ours... More

Stayed Easter, loved the location and this hotel has been restored wonderfully BUT they seemed to struggle when things got a wee bit busy. Food was amazing BUT service slow. Booked one of the cottages BUT room was not made up one of the days and we had been out all day. The owners did address our problems in a... More

The Hotel is situated on the north east coast of Skye, and has just amazing views of the sea. On a clear day you can see mainland Scotland across the channel. To the back of the hotel you are greeted with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The hotel has been renovated, and is tastefully decorated in a semi-modern motif... More

We stopped at the Flodigarry Country House Hotel for lunch while exploring Skye. We only experienced the public areas and we were impressed with what we saw. We ate in the bar which was modern and well appointed, food was lovely and reasonably priced. We moved to a lounge area for coffee with big arm chairs and great views over... More

First off, let me begin by saying that we were very much looking forward to our stay at The Flodigarry, and we were not disappointed by the beauty of the hotel itself, and of course the location is gorgeous. This hotel has been lovingly renovated, and the results are stunning. I also loved the history of the hotel and the... More

We stayed the nights of the 1st to 3rd June. The hotel is in one of the most beautiful areas in Skye and the interior of the main hotel has been stunningly redecorated with a great attention to detail. This attention to detail was lacking in other areas. We booked the superior cottage room and had eagerly anticipated the roll... More

The most beautiful welcome by Hector when we entered this hotel. He gave us a tour, offered us a complimentary whisky as a welcome and was so accommodating. It felt like we were home in such a beautiful location. I wanted to acknowledge Hector because he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The bed was very... More

The Flodigarry was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is a classic country home converted into a small hotel with large, beautifully renovated rooms. Our room had a spectacular view of the water, lovely furniture and nice amenities. The common areas are spacious and beautiful as well. The house is set on the coast in... More
