We spent one night at the hotel recently having dinner and breakfast. The hotel is quite old fashioned but we felt it was more dated than charming. There were few 'extras' that one would expect for the price we paid for B&B (£250) and there were lots of little things that could have been better. We had booked a meal... More

My husband and I ended our Scotland honeymoon with a two night stay at the Flodigarry Hotel after being charmed by its rich history. I had read the reviews on trip advisor and was a little wary, but upon arrival all of my concerns vanished. The hotel is filled with character and we were warmly greeted by the owner Paul,... More

The scenery alone is worth the price of your room! The staff was very welcoming. When we stayed the couple had just recently bought and reopened the hotel. We can't complain about anything related to our stay. The hotel is an old hunting lodge and they did a great job keeping that feel about the place. The breakfast is great... More

Stopped here for a wee dram on our way home from a walk. It's a really unique bar and location with a fantastic view. We were disappointed that we couldn't stay longer and enjoy dinner or make a stay, one for the bucket list.

This was expensive, but our favorite of the seven other lodgings on our trip. The views were spectacular. The staff was very hard working, engaged, and entertaining. Loved the music playing in the bar and dining room. Our room and bathroom was comfortable and clean, no complaints. Beautiful old hunting lodge, well maintained and nicely decorated. Our breakfast and dinner... More

We booked a four-night stay in late September 2014 based largely on their website. After four days, three things stood out: - the landscape around the hotel (and in this part of Skye) is awesomely beautiful. Cliffs that could have come from Montana, skylines (look south from the hotel) that must have been created by Disney. - the food in... More

Found this hotel to be overpriced. We arrived at night (10pm) and there were no lights at the entrance, had to feel our way around the hallway for the door. Did not enjoy breakfast. The receptionist when we arrived was friendly but not very helpful. The room was ok but did not reflect the the ammount we had to pay in... More

Amazing place, beautiful hotel. Small rooms but very romantic and the view it's breathtaking. Loved every moment spent there. The restaurant has an amazing view over the sea, it's a really quite place surrounded by the beauty of Skye.

This is a charming hotel set in a beautiful location with stunning views. The hotel is situated in large grounds. You pass amazing scenery on the way to the hotel from Portree (about 25 minutes' drive away). From the moment you drive up to the hotel you know this is a special place. There is nothing contrived about the charm... More

I'm only reviewing the restaurant as we were staying elsewhere. Actually, this is our second visit as we were here a year ago and were impressed by the food. Again, lovely food, well priced and the new refurbished restaurant and bar looks great and has a nice homely, warm ambience. However, a couple of things I feel need to be... More
