The Flodigarry was one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is a classic country home converted into a small hotel with large, beautifully renovated rooms. Our room had a spectacular view of the water, lovely furniture and nice amenities. The common areas are spacious and beautiful as well. The house is set on the coast in... More

The Flodigarry Hotel is lovely. The bar and lounge area are beautiful and have great style. Leather chairs, fireplace, blankets, a grand piano... with a stunning view. The restaurant was really delicious as well. Keep in mind, the rooms are old -- and it does show. But they've got great character and ours was clean and classic. The fixtures and... More

Latitude N. 57 at the top of Skye on a single lane road, blowing horizontal rain in a near gale from Hebrides Sea, a small sign beckons me impulsively down a steep paved entry down toward a sheltered beach and we find this exclusive seaside hotel in the lee of a craggy hill. The Flodigarry... and they have WiFi in... More

On Skye there is the most delightful hotel and restaurant, The Flodigarry Hotel. It is so beautiful inside and out. Large rooms and hallway where you are greeted at reception are simply stunning. The staff are warm, welcoming and pleasant. Now someone took enormous thought to furbish this hotel as it feels and looks like a stately home. When the weather... More

The meal I had here was so delicious and memorable. Thanks to the chef who obviously has heavenly culinary flair and imagination.!!! I went twice to dine and loved the way the tallisker tasted which had a wonderful glass siphon. I had walked the quairang and it was a wonderful way to end the day cheers to the chef.

Following a most unpleasant interlude at an hotel in Portree we were fortunate that the hotel could take us at short notice. We drove up to the north of the island and were captivated by the view from the hotel. The welcome was wonderful. We were tired, thirsty and hungry and had a lovely dinner. Our room "Robert Burns" was... More

My sister and I stayed at the flodiggary hotel for 2 nights in one of the cottages which has twin beds. We received a warm welcome on our arrival and all the staff were really helpful during our stay providing us with a packed lunch for one of our walks. The food was excellent although expect a wait for dinner... More

This is an amazing hotel! Very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, especially Hector and Jacob! The rooms were comfortable , well presented and clean. The food was truly memorable and we had 3 nights of delicious and amazing food! The hotel is set in the most idyllic of landscapes overlooking the sea with Flora... More

We visited the Flodigarry for a long weekend, with our dog. We stayed in the room named Anna, in the cottage which belonged to Flora MacDonald during the 1790s. The room had a separate "snug" which was perfect for the dog. The only small issue we had was a smell of fumes, which was apparently due to an issue with... More

Came back here in April 2015 after eating here last September. The choice in the menu is good and the food is wonderfully cooked and presented. The hotel is wonderfully situated with panoramic views over the sea. The atmosphere in the bar & restaurant is relaxing. The owners have decorated the Skye Bar and restaurant. Only one criticism, the main... More
