And it has not got better, apart from the beautiful surroundings, I wish I had kept this place as a memory, I had always told my partner I wanted to bring her here. Now she wished I didn't. At least Skye is still beautiful makes up for the disappointment of finding somewhere that was once amazing

We felt welcome from the first moment on. While waiting for check-in, a drink is served in one of the rooms full with interesting antics. The sea view can only be described as PERFECT – be it early morning or very late. For dinner we recommend the bar – not the dining room – it offers a more authentic ambience.... More

Driving down the winding approach road toward the sea, you think you will have a memorable experience. We did, but one we'd rather forget. For starters, where is the reception? No sign, no indication which door you should enter. I entered through a sitting area, and another guest pointed to an interior door I should take. I did so, into... More

My husband and I spent one night in an attic room and had dinner in the bar. The hotel is unlike any I've ever seen. The parlor and the attached conservatory are absolutely gorgeous. Feels like you're stepping back in time to a grand foreign hotel in the 1920's. They even offer a complimentary sherry or whiskey upon arrive. Staff... More

Great views of the water and Quiraing ridge. We stayed for a couple nights in this comfortable, newly renovated, friendly place. The design is tasteful, eclectic, welcoming, contemporary, historic touches. Room was perfect for our stay: nice views, clean, comfortable bed. The Skye Bar has a warm clubby atmosphere. Food is contemporary, fresh, local and very good. Really quite a... More

We had a lovely welcome at the Flodigarry, which was just what we needed after a day of walking. We paid extra for a better room and we were not disappointed, the view was perfect. We spent a long time in the room just sitting and looking out, it was so relaxing. We also ate in the restaurant in the... More

The Flodigarry Hotel has a wonderful aesthetic style, but sadly that's where it ends. A deconstructed reception translates to an empty hallway where the customer has no idea where to go or what to do on arrival. When a member of staff does make an appearance the level of customer service is weak and seemingly untrained which was consistent throughout... More

Ten years we have been going to the hotel and it was my favourite but will not be returning. £150 for one room and £180 for the other per night and the £150 room had no hot water?Another guest is heard also complaining they had no hot water that day and the day before and it just seemed as if... The Flodigarry almost ticks every box, great, in fact superb location views over the sea to the highlands and out across the water to the isles, serene and quiet location, young friendly welcoming staff, well equipped rooms in beautiful surroundings, a great menu of locally sourced produce , food can be taken in the restaurant or the bar a little... This review is for the High Tide restaurant at the Flodigarry Hotel. This restaurant appears twice in TripAdvisor, once as High Tide and once as Dining at Flodigarry - they're the same place, so I'm leaving this review under both. We actually ate at the Skye Bar, which serves the same menu as the restaurant. First of all, I have... More
