It was a great stay at The Glenview, The location was beautiful, The service and attention to details in the rooms were very warm and inviting, the beds comfy and the food was beyond expectations! I really felt as if I had discovered a rare gem. Thank you Kristy and Simon for a wonderful stay!

Really charming place to stay - with absolutely sensational cooking! The last time we had such delicious, fresh, creatively prepared food was at Raymond Blanc's Manoir aux Quatre Saisons - really top quality. Simon is a genius! Kirsty is delightful too and we loved all the imaginative touches which made the place feel comfortable and homely. They are doing something... More

A truly wonderful small family hotel, with the personal touch you hardly find anywhere anymore, lovely rooms and decorations and the best food on Skye. One of the few places where it is not about making money and fastfood but all about quality, slowfood and making you feel at home.

Kirsty and Simon work hard to make this a lovely place to stay and explore Skye. They are really interested in helping guests find the right places for them, and in getting feedback on their experiences. Lovely room, spotlessly clean, fabulous dinner and a great breakfast

The Glenview restaurant with rooms is a traditional Scottish croft that has been extended to accommodate a few rooms above the restaurants. The deco is a quirky mix of original 50's furnitures and very comfy iron framed large bed to allow a peaceful night sleep. The fact that there is no TV in room means that you can catch up... More

Came for my partner's birthday. The hotel is unique and lovely, filled with quirky and thoughtful little touches. The food was amazing - so many flavours. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Just a lovely place.

This was our first night away from the children, since they were born, we didn't go far form home, but who needs to when you live on Skye! What a beautiful hotel, I have never been anywhere like it. It is so unusual, there is something to catch your eye at every corner. The room was stunning, with a fabulous... More

We stayed here for one night and had dinner in the restaurant. Our room was fine with quirky, vintaged furnishings which are a nice touch but there is nothing polished or refined about these. The bathroom was dated with an old electric shower. Homemade tablet on the pillows was a lovely touch. We had high hopes for dinner given the... More

We stayed one night at Glenview. We had come across from Harris that morning. The "restaurant with rooms" is an attractive 110 year building just off the main road and in a relatively remote, i.e. peaceful environment. Our twin bedded room overlooked fields and trees and in the foreground was the hen coup so it's clear that some of the... More

We stayed 3 nights here on a walking holiday. Although pricey, the food for breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals was excellent. The only downside is the long wait between courses at dinner (up to 30 minutes). Our room was comfortable, but a TV would have been nice. The owners Kirsty and Simon were both friendly and welcoming.
