This was our 2nd stay at Kinloch Lodge, it didn't disappoint. Food fantastic, dinner can be up to 6 courses if you choose, this will include Marcello Tullys' soupçon and an intermediary special course, usually fish. You can finish dinner with a desert or cheese, they do a very interesting cheese dish too as an alternative to the usual "cheese... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in July 2011. The welcome was warm, the setting absolutely stunning, and the room was clean and cosy. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. The atmosphere in the restaurant varied greatly between different nights owing to different types of people - one night it was a bit quiet and almost stifling, but that... More

Can't recommend Kinloch Lodge highly enough. Particularly the (well deserved) Michelin Star restaurant. The food, wine and service were all absolutely superb. More

New Year was our sixth trip to Kinloch and we've already booked our next visit. Kinloch gets better and better every time. Skye by itself is a reason to return, but being able to stay at Kinloch, with its amazing food (definitely deserves the Michelin star), the incredible wine and whiskey lists, lovely comfortable rooms, and great staff is the... The food was exceptIonal, probably too good. The service on the whole was faultless from the staff. The owners provided a real warmth and welcome that is rare. The rooms were lovely and what they lacked was made up for by the service and food. It's a long trip to get there so two nights wasn't enough. More

Returning to Scotland from Asia, November was not our first choice but it was picture postcard weather everywhere we went. The stay in Skye was perfect and the team at the Kinloch Lodge made it a wonderful and memorable trip. Accommodation spot on; food exceptional and service excellent by UK standards. We are definitely spoilt in the East when it... More

We had a very lovely Sunday lunch here in October. We had the dining room to ourselves, presumably because of the season. When you arrive (they ask you to arrive 30 min in advance of your reservation) you are given a chance for refreshments and served some wonderful hors d'oeuvres. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We were served... More

I loved the customs that were respected in the main House. Champagne was served as we checked in.Getting dressed up for Dinner. Cocktails and appetizers in the Drawing Room 1/2 hour before going into the Dining Room to feast on an amazing meal each evening. Breakfast was a lovely meal with a civil Scottish family feeling. Boots and umbrellas were... More
