We had two couples staying in this hotel to explore Skye for three nights. The rooms were lovely and the setting is gorgeous on the southern end of the isle. We were able to explore the island and return to a lovely room and warm pub or nice dinner in the restaurant. We would highly recommend the hotel to couples... More

Wasn't sure when we first arrived about the place but once we finally booked in we had a nice comfortable room with a view on the bay. We ate both nights in the restaurant where the meals were of a high standard. All the staff were friendly and we loved the bar area where we could sit and have a... More

We had a suite for 3 nights - had a great view on the bay with amazing sunsets. A little house, bedroom upstairs - bathroom and small lounge downstairs, nicely furnished and quiet. I like the option of fine dining or the pub/bar both served good food. The staff we're lovely, a big thanks to Grogan, Victor, Nicole and Marie,... More

Eilean Iarmain really is the perfect destination for a few days on Skye. Small and unpretentious, it has a choice of rooms in the main building, or suites in a row of crofts by the water. Each suite consists of a downstairs sitting room and bathroom, while upstairs is the bedroom, from where the lighthouse can be seen, bathed in... More

My son and I shared a twin suite (bedroom upstairs, sitting room and bathroom downstairs) which was extremely comfortable with a fantastic view of the sea and mainland. Although we didn't see them, otters can sometimes be seen from the room - seals were more obliging! The food in the restaurant was very good as was the bar food although... More

The setting was marvellous. In the tiny hamlet, looking out to the islands and lighthouse (can walk to it at low tide across the rocks). Right in the heart of the local community too with locals at the pub. Very welcoming. Restaurant and pub food both excellent.

Our room was quiet and comfortable and the location is really special. Bar food was a bit pricey but that is the case all over the Isle of Skye. That said, all four of us enjoyed a tasty dinner.
