We love this property and were married here a year ago. However, service has slipped since our last visit and we left distinctly underwhelmed when we stayed this week. The food is as good as ever, the bedrooms are clean and the location is second-to-none, but with the exception of the new manager, the young staff team really need some... More

Relaxing and beautiful! This hotel is a gem tucked within the lovely Isle of Skye. Rooms are spacious and clean; food is hearty and flavorful. Even if it is rainy, there is no place like Skye. Check out the art exhibits, shop, and whisky as well!

Had a great say here for 3 days. Loved the pub food. Best fish and chips of our two week trip around the Isles. Also, the lamb shoulder in the pub is great. Remember to order at the bar! They will bring meals to your table. But you need to order drinks and food at the bar. The hotel is... More

We were so looking forward to staying here and having a relaxing couple of days. When we arrived it was as picturesque as the photographs. We were a little early arriving. When someone eventually came to see us, we asked if we could book in and were told no - booking in is at 3pm (this was 2.30pm) We were... More

We had a very tasty meal at Eilean Iarmain on Sunday night. The poor staff were under a bit of pressure as the police had decided to question the staff about a disturbance from the night before. Unhelpful of the police, as it was a busy service!! Before or after service may have been possible? The food was served promptly... More

Charming little hotel on the coast. Very nice accommodations. Excellent bar food -- I enjoyed their version of haggis and am still salivating over the mixed mushroom ragout served in a perfect cream sauce on toasted brioche. Yum! Also enjoyed the free whiskey tasting at the shop next to the hotel.

Stayed here 2 nights as part of a back roads tour. We had a lovely quiet room in the garden house opposite to the main building with the bar and restaurant. Great food in restaurant. Some others had rooms over the bar and they said they were awake until the bar closed and everyone still hanging around left. But we... More

We stopped for food whilst passing through the area. It was fresh and nicely presented. The bar was busy but this didn't impact the service. The bar was pleasant to sit in with a variety of options to choose from including some fresh seafood dishes from the 'specials' board.

we stayed here 2 nights. Are at the bar one night and the fancy restaurant the other. Food was delicious, service terribly slow. Breakfast took over an hour! Apparently the tour groups get priority. Our room was a "suite" which had the bathroom on the ground floor and bed upstairs. For those of us who need to get up in... More
