We had the Garden Suite which was delightful. Serene views of mountains and sea across a beautiful garden. Clean room, deep luxurious bath and extremely comfortable bed. Only problem was wifi connection was poor. Otherwise a superb 3 days in a wonderful place. The restaurant was exceptional.

This hotel is superb! Upon arrival staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and this didn't just stop at arriving! We were shown to our room and given a tour of the hotel which added to the welcome. The room was very big, with a beautiful 4 poster bed and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast at the hotel was great! Staff couldn't... More

We got the the Duisdale House after a frustrating day dealing with a flat on the rental car. The recovery vehicle driver convinced the rental agency to let us leave the car at the petrol station we had made it to before giving up, and said he would drive us to our "posh" hotel. Having made the booking on-line, we... More

Really enjoyed my stay at the Duisdale for Hogmanay 2015. It was an expensive choice for myself and my friends but the food, atmosphere, staff and location all made it worthwhile. We had a lovely, large twin room with small changing area and large bathroom. The room was really hot but we just turned down the heating to a suitable... More

We had a 2 night stay during the Christmas break as a part of a Wedding party of around 30. After driving over 500 miles, we arrived at the hotel which was located opposite a small beach, in a very beautiful quiet location. We were greeted by the friendly staff who quickly showed us to our room which was on... More

I booked Toravaig house for a real special experience with friend who had not visited Skye and on arrival at Toravaig hotel we discovered it was closed. After phone call we were directed to Duisdale Hotel where we had to stay as we were the only guests that night in Toravaig. This was not what I wanted as I had... More

Value for money for the bed and breakfast element it would be a clear 5 *. The dinner element was good but the hotel let itself down on several small points. The bedroom heating was not controlled in the room so it was a touch cold. The dining room and lounge was nice and cosy. The staff were good but... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for a night, celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We've been upgraded to a 4 poster bed en-suite room , which was like in a dream. Rosie, the receptionist was so nice and welcoming and the service was impeccable. The food was amazing! Fresh home-made bread and the most perfect stake I've ever had! Our... More

So it has to be 4. Friendly staff. Stunning looking place. Room clean but a little small. Breakfast was lush. The only let down was the main. Was missing two things that I asked for. Waiters I would say are over worked. Food not as good as it looked. And they sat me right next to a radiator that was... More
