From the moment we arrived we realized what a mistake we made...we ONLY BOOKED 2 NIGHTS!! We hadn't even seen the room yet! Morag & Paulina met us at the front desk and made us feel so warm and incredibly welcome that we asked if we could extend our stay by one night. We met Daniel & Michael shortly, both... More

We stayed in the garden room which is in a lovely location. However, there is something amiss in this hotel and it could do with some professional advice on how to take it up a notch to the 4 star hotel it advertises. To start with one of the lamp shades in the room was left without a shade, the... More

Stayed with partner on tour of Scotland. Room was dark, but nice decorated and modern. We had room with view looking into the trees, but others will have very nice look out to sea and mountain of the main land. Good breakfast.

We stayed 3 nights in late June. We loved the location. We stayed in a "sea view four poster". They made a point of acknowledging our wedding anniversary-nice touch. No one asked to help with luggage through a narrow entry door and up one flight. This after a Calmac strike made travel a chore. Staff seemed new and getting accustomed... More

We stayed for two nights and agree that it is a very nice hotel. However we believe that it is way over priced for a hotel of this type. The set menu in the restaurant is very expensive with very small servings. On both nights we had to ask on numerous occasions for heating and the towel rail warmers in... More

We found the Duisdale to be a true reflection of what us presented on its website. The hotel is wonderfully presented, the decor is modern but with a traditional touch and there is always something a little bit different to attract one's attention and evoke conversations. The rooms a week presented and the views across the gardens was very relaxing.... More

I only wish that we had more time in this lovely hotel. We had booked two nights but our flights were delayed by 2 days and so missed our first night. Fair warning that the first night is prepaid and not refundable, but that is clear during booking. (That is why we did not book the flight the first night... More

We visited for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and decided to splash out on this very expensive hotel. The décor, the service, the room, the sea-view and the dinner were all very good. But, the breakfast was a let-down after the excellence of the rest - staff uniforms were dirty and the food was pretty standard (unlike the dinner which had... More

Accommodation is hard to find on Skye and good accommodation gets booked up quickly. We arrived in thick fog and so did not appreciate what a lovely situation the hotel has. When the fog cleared, which it did by the next day, we could appreciate the views. If you have booked a sea facing room it would be great but our room... More

The best thing about Duisdale house is the room. It is big, beautifully appointed and has a great view. The bathroom is large, luxurious and has a great big bath and shower, heated towel racks and lovely big area for your stuff. All the furniture is amazing, the sheets and the bed are gorgeous. It really is a lovely retreat.... More
