New owners arrived in April 2008 but happily it hasn't changed much and the older reviews here are still valid. It is an excellent B&B with really good breakfasts, nice rooms, well equipped. Breakfasts are unusual, the cold raspberry porridge seems to have gone but there are fruits &pancakes, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, yoghurt with bananas and nuts, delicious... more

I was beginning to worry when I was struggling to find a place to stay in Portree when I was booking our stay on Skye. But how glad am I that my search took us further afield to this little island treasure. Skye is a beautiful island, but this really is a gem of a spot and a great place... more

Stayed for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer! Fantastic B&B, lovely clean room, great lounge with log-fire, and a wonderful breakfast. Easy to find, and is in a beautiful location. Will definitely return, and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to stay in this area. more

What a ray of sunshine Roskhill is. Lovely welcome, really clean room. Breakfast was great no fried food in sight. We recommend the pancakes and fruit. Set back from the road which was lovely, so peaceful. We ate in the School House, very good meal, we only just got a table by turning up at opening time. The Stern Inn... more

My fiance and I stayed in this B&B for 2 nights last weekend (end July 2007). Our plan was to escape from the "joys" of wedding planning and, never having been to Skye before, we decided that a weekend away from it all would be just what the doctor ordered. I found Roskill House on the Visit Scotland web site... more

This part of Skye is beautiful and the Roskhill is a great place to stay. Great breakfasts with something a bit different from the usual fry up! Definitely recommend a visit more

We stayed at Roskhill House for 4 nights in June. Roskhill House was easy to find and just outside Dunvegan. The room was comfortable, with a sitting area, and a nice bathroom. THe breakfasts were great- especially the pancakes and gave us plenty of energy for walking. There was also internet access via a lap top and a TV with... more

To those traveling around the Isle of Skye, I can only say that having experienced the island and the Roskhill House, you will have a hard time finding any B&B more charming and accomodating than this one run by Julie and Gavin Campbell. It reflects the charm of a crofter cottage and has an excellent location if you wish to... more

We stayed for two nights in April and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Julie and Gavin were very welcoming and spent time talking to us about the places to visit on the Island. The room was very comfortable and immaculately clean and the fire in the residents lounge in the evening was most welcome. We were very lucky with the... more

My husband and I recently stayed at Roskill House for three nights. We had a fantastic break. The property itself is set in in a beautiful location outside of Dunvegan on Skye. It is almost like a small hotel given its size with 5 rooms. Our room was a good size, spotlessly clean and decorated and fitted out to a... more
