Roskhill house is a delight. Fresh and classy accommodation with the most modern spacious ensuite we've ever come across. Alan is a fine host and provided us with a huge breakfast in a lovely appointed breakfast room. Pleasantly asssisting us with directions to the many natural wonders and highlights of Skye. Thank you for making our very first to Scotland... More

A very comfortable guest house, recently re-fitted, so beautifully fresh and modern. Friendly owners, very helpful, and happy to answer questions and make suggestions. Excellent breakfasts - special mention for the 4-fruit home made marmalade, which was wonderful! Highly recommended. More

I really like hosts of Roskhill house. We stayed in the biggest room in the Roskhill House and it was really great location. What I want to highlight is breakfast and especially - Greek yogurt! :) I want to thanks the hosts for everything! More

This Guest House is a couple of miles before Dunvegan and in a lovely, off the road, peaceful setting. Originally a Post office (I think) it has been sympathetically modernised to the highest standard. Comfortable bed, crisp linen, quality furnishings, very good breakfast and very attentive owners. No television but this added to the ambience. Amazed this is the first... More

One of the nicest places we stayed in the Scottish islands. Beautifully appointed, large rooms with good sized showers and lots of thoughtful touches. We stayed in 2 rooms during our stay as we booked quite late. Lovely breakfast room with good food and would certainly recommend taking advantage of the packed lunches for when you are out and about.... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Roskhill House. Our room, although up a very narrow little staircase, as most of the rooms are, was very comfortable, quiet and roomy. The bathroom and shower were very spacious as well with all the usual amenities. The room had a refrigerator, plenty of outlets for recharging. Internet was only available in... More

What a lovely place to stay. Roskhill House has been carefully furnished and maintained by the owners and is a comfortable place with lots of character being an old crofter’s house. The breakfast menu is pretty extensive and although you need to order what you want the night before it’s worth it to get your food perfectly prepared the following... More

This was the second time we have stayed at Roskhill House and will return. We stayed in the largest room and had loads space to spread out. The other rooms are smaller but as it was a crofters cottage you have to expect this. The rooms and bathrooms are decorated to a high standard and even have a fridge which is... More

We stayed here for one night while travelling through the Scottish Highlands, and pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The rooms were comfortably appointed and the bathrooms small, but very modern and of good quality. It did not feel like a typical B&B -- it was really more akin to a small boutique hotel except with the typical friendly... More
