We stayed for 3 nights in a very wet August. The whole place is spotlessly clean with good local breakfast. Our room was on the small side but perfectly adequate. The guest house is well set back from the road and so nice and quiet with plenty of parking. It's about 10-15 minutes walk into Portree centre. The owners are... more

My wife & I stayed the weekend in October and found everything to be absolutely first class. The proprietors Jeanette and Robert are extremely nice people first and foremost and the B&B itself is a lovely building in well maintained grounds, the ensuite rooms are immaculate, clean, fresh and well decorated and homely and have TV, dressing table, bedside tables... more

Pink, pink, and more pink. And on top of that, pink. Well, aside from the offense to my senses, the proprietor was extremely unfriendly, as if we were putting her out by paying to stay at her house. The room itself was very tiny and had an unclean smell. To her credit, the breakfast was decent, although, once again, all... more

This is a lovely and very charming B & B on the beautiful Isle of Skye, in Portree, the main town. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful with suggestions for side trips and restaurants. Our room was small but immaculate and well-appointed. The breakfast was very generous, with the usual eggs/bacon/sausage etc. but also included cereal, fruit and a... more

We had a nice stay, though our room was not very spacious. while booking one should take care to ask them for a bogger room. it is the most clean b and b i have ever stayed in. cutlery, linen, everything was perfect. breakfast was ok. it is well locate though it does not have a harbour view, like many... more

Stayed a night towards end of August and were really impressed. The owners were welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in, although a bit cramped for space, was tastefully decorated and provided for. The entire house was squeaky clean and very well arranged. On the downside, the breakfast could probably be better. more

We booked the Duirinish Guest House by chance, as we had planned to book another which turned out to be full, and they passed our details over. We arrived later than expected for various reasons, so were very pleased to receive a friendly welcome and a comfortable room. While we have stayed in larger rooms, I must say we have... more

This was our second stay at Duirinish. Robert & Jeanette are fantastic hosts, with excellent local knowledge. Their breakfast was the best we had all holiday! The cooked was great but the fruit & cheese option was outstanding; so much choice, toast, oatcakes, croissant, 4 sorts of cheese, 4 types of fruit. Plus cereal, yoghurts etc! The room was spotlessly... more
