Portree is well positioned in the middle of Skye as a great touring base. The staff at the Caledonian are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast and dinner very good and the room comfortable. Fantastic staff, all very friendly and helpful. Double room was clean and comfortable. Price was very reasonable. Food was excellent. Great atmosphere. The free car park was handy as the hotel is in the town centre. We will definitely stay again if we return to Skye.
