totally charming. I would definately stay here again. The staff were lovely and the service first class. We were made to feel very welcome. The location is perfect. This was in marked contrast to our experience at the Three Chimneys in Colbost which was really up its own ego, very strange atmosphere. Viewfield House deserves to be #1 on Skye.... more

Someone here called the place quirky but a must. I completely support and agree with this statement. We stayed at Viewfield House for three nights in August. The accommodations were quite nice, and the staff were, for the most part, very welcoming. The one exception was, oddly, the owner. Stayed one night, wished it could have been more. This is a beautiful home that feels and looks like a castle. The house is filled with many interesting decorative items that add to its character. It is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the town center. Great breakfast, friendly staff, highly recommended. more
