The Cuillin Hills has a superb location. It overlooks Portree Bay and is just a few minutes walk to the centre of Portree. We stayed in the premier room with large bay window and the view was amazing. Room was very spacious, with equally generous bathroom. Four poster bed and thick carpets – no noise from anywhere else. I stayed at this hotel with one of my friends. It was an ideal location for walking as we were very much in the middle of the island where we could either go north or south to walk. We had a premier room at the front of the hotel which had amazing views of the sea across to the harbour... more

This hotel is just fantastic. My wife and I just spent two nights there with our two teenage sons. The accommodation is of a very high standard, as are the staff. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Should be higher graded than it is by the Scottish Tourist Board. Hard to see how the place could be better! more
