We had a two night weekend stay at this hotel and we were very impressed. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The staff are very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast menu is fairly wide ranging and the cooked breakfast was hot and tasted freshly made. The porridge would have filled even the heartiest of... More

The Cuillin Hills hotel is a lovely traditional hotel with a fantastic vista. My room was plush with a Victorian bathroom style and even a bidet. I had a great sleep on a very comfy bed. I only ate cereal at the hotel, but the cooked breakfast look very nice. Ample parking. Before breakfast I took a run around the... More

Splurge for a room with a view! You'll be glad that you did. Wow! The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and have wonderful little extra touches. The staff is really great. We thought it was a newer hotel when we booked (the pictures online give us that impression) but it is an older establishment that has been wonderful updated. Plan... More

The hotel sits beautifully on the hillside overlooking the harbour and bay at Portree. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped and the restaurant and bar area offer great views over the bay. The food was excellent and although I'm not a fan of the fancy food small portions the quality was excellent. I only stayed the night so... More

We booked this hotel as a treat because of the price of the rooms and it is the best hotel on Skye. The hotel rooms are fantastic, decorated to a very modern standard, whilst retaining the old fashion manor house feel. I don't think I had a better night sleep on my whole trip! The resteraunt has the same feel,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in March, and had dinner on one night. The room was large and comfortable with a substantial ensuite. It didn't quite have the wow factor but it was very good nonetheless. Dinner was very good and the view from the dining room was fantastic. Breakfast was very good too; it was cooked to order... More

Stayed for one night in a Cuillin Room. Gorgeous room with spectacular views and gorgeous four poster bed. All the litte extras like robes, toiletries, fruit and whiskey make this worth the little bit extra money. Staff were also lovely. Only one small complaint would be the quality of the cooked breakfast. Good selection however I have had better in... More

We recently booked a table for 17 to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday; some had traveled a long distance. We had pre-ordered our meal from the very expensive menu as we thought this would help the staff at the time (bad move). When the starters arrived, three pieces of very small scallops, overcooked and dried out (looked more like shrivelled... More
