We didn't stay at the Cuillin Hills Hotel but we did eat there one evening. The hotel is very well located on the bay that forms around Portree. The view from the hotel is of the harbour side and an impressive back drop of mountains that predominate in the area. It was a good choice to eat, a good selection... More

We stayed at Cullin Hills for two nights. the grounds of the hotel are very nice indeed. The hotel is located a little out of town and therefore if you need to drive into town, and as there is not a lot of parking in Portree in peak holiday times, parking can be an issue. The hotel is quite nice,... More

Stayed for 1 night B&B in August and felt let down for the price paid. Room good and clean but breakfast average, summed up when another guest asked for an omelette and was told could not do as was not on menu! Not good for a £270 B&B.

We stayed for two nights, I must say with 270 British Pounds, the room was certainly out of date, not worth the price tag. The show didn't have hot water the first night, but since there was a separate shower for the bathtub, we were able to use that. So after the shower, I went to the front desk and... More

My wife and I stayed at Cuillin Hills Hotel in July 2014 for two nights. Great location with a beautiful view of beach front Portree -- just a short walk into town. The town offers shopping and many dining choices. We stayed in a very large room -- separate sitting area and spacious bath -- at the end of a... More

We stayed for two nights as part of an Absolute Escapes train holiday and could not fault it. The room (Room 20) was large, well appointed, comfortable with a fabulous view of Portree. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent - both breakfast and dinner. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our recent stay at Cuillin Hills. The hotel, while a bit unclear to locate, is situated perfectly ona bluff overlooking the harbor and provides amazing views from the lawn. Our room was large, well appointed with all the amenities you would come to expect from a high-end hotel. The dining experience was first class;... More

We planned 2 nights camping on the Isle of Skye, but following a problem with our tent we were forced to look for a B&B. As it was the really busy everywhere we tried was booked. We came across the Cuillin Hills Hotel and tried it in desperation. The hotel was fully booked, but they had just had a cancellation.... More

We stayed here a few nights ago. The hotel is wonderful, the views are stunning and the food innovative and delicious. Our room was expensive but it was at the front of the hotel and the view across the bay was worth every penny. In fact we agreed it was probably one of THE most beautiful views from a hotel... More

The stunning view combined with fantastic food in a lovely Hotel make this a lovely place to stay if a bit expensive. I didn’t feel that our room out in the Annex at the back with no real view and twin single beds was worth £195 a night but as they were fully booked while we were there so are... More
