Needed a place as an overnight stay before catching the ferry the following morning Bad weather meant we arrived very very late. I mention this because the owners we very understanding about this and greeted us at the door at 00:40 am!! Before showing us to our room Breakfast was made us in the morning and nicely cooked However, there... More

When we picked Cul Na Creagan we were seeking good, value-for-money, self-catering accommodation in the centre of Skye. That is exactly what this place is (they also do B&B). You need to be near Portree if you want self catering, because Skye is huge and there are no decent sized shops in the outlying areas. You need to be near... More

The location is quiet and rural and hard to find on a single track road with sheep on the top of blind summits. The rooms are only as quiet as the guests, and the walls are so thin I could hear someone else turn the tap on. There were some noisy guests and we didn't get to sleep to late... More

Very nice B&B, we spent 4 nights here an had a great time exploring the beautiful Isle of Skye. The B&B is in a bucolic location with sheep wondering the road, hosts were friendly, room was clean and breakfasts were tasty.

We stayed here as we had American friends on a boat trip docking in Portree harbour for a day. We stayed the night before and the night after their sojourn in Skye. The place is over 3 miles out of town but very quiet and relaxing, unlike the bustling centre of town. Place we had was a self contained unit... More

The owners were very helpful in assisting us during our stay. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable with a very pleasant rural view. The freshly prepared breakfast was excellent. Would recommend this location rather than stay in what can be a busy town centre.

This was our last nights stay after touring Uists, Harris and Lewis and it was the most expensive B & B so we were looking for something special. At £60 and £65 we were disappointed to find one room shared the bathroom with the owners and guests were not allowed to use it between 6.30 and 7.30am according to notice... More

We went for Easter holiday with our two dogs. The place is a bit far from town but that how should be. The owners are very very friendly. Food fresh and nice. Place clean and homely. No concerns about the place I am strongly recomend it. Thanks again to the owners.

My husband, 2-yr old, parents and I stayed at the Cul Na Creagan over Easter 2014. The stay was lovely and family friendly. I read reviews that the place was filthy with cat and dog hair, but this wasn't the case. The owners provided great touristic advice on what to see on Skye, they also organised our room with a... After more than 20 days travelling around Ireland and Scotland, when we visited Portree and stayed at Cul Na Creagan for 2 nights, it is located in a quiet country area, with a nice scenic view from our 2nd floor bedroom. Breakfast was plenty and the host Linda and Larry were very friendly and helpful in providing tips where to... More
