Stayed in a wigwam for one night and will return - both the bunks and the bothy also looked great, so might come back as a group! Friendly owners, tranquil location and affordable prices - especially for the wigwams, considering other wigwam sites in Skye. Nice kitchen facilities too and a comfortable nights sleep, much more interesting and memorable than... More

Not the most salubrious accommodation you will find and probably not for those who want a 5* hotel..... But brilliantly situated and set up for mountaineers and climbers. Warm, dry and comfy enough. Plenty of space. Room to cook and sit out in the evening. Well priced. We got on really well with the owner and had a great stay.

I stayed here last year and thought it was good value for money. The owners were friendly and communal facilities were very clean. The local pub in Carbost was a great place to go in the evenings to listen to live music and enjoy a few drinks.

I have stayed at the bunkhouse on a couple of occasions, and have booked to return in 2015. I was in the small bunkhouse, Bothy Beag, which can take up to 4 people, and is cosy and warm. The facilities are completely adequate, and Theresa and Billy, who run the site, could not be more helpful or friendly.

Just spent a week in this place and have only good things to say about it, Theresa and Billy were great hosts, very welcoming. We stayed in one of the three wigwams in the most horrid weather but only ever felt warm and cosy! The kettle came in really handy for a cuppa in the morning ( and if you... More

Hi my wife and I stayed here with our 4 children in the bothie house and the accommodation was self catering and fantastic for what we needed. The bothie is a nice wee home away from home with all the equipment you need and caters for a family of 6. This also sleeps 6 in single beds just be careful... More

At the end of the world, we found this beautiful place. We had a verry warm welcome and a lovely stay at our wigwam. Theresa made us feel verry special (she called us here love birds). The wigwam was quiet with a beautiful vieuw. The livingroom in the bunkhouse was a verry nice place too stay. And the kitchen was... More

Stayed as a part of a mixed group of 14 over a weekend and this is not the usual run of the mill basic bunkhouse. The living and eating area is comfortable with lounge type furniture, rugs, nice coffee tables, lamp shades and even cut flowers. Theresa really gives the place a feminine touch and provides other things like drinks... More

We spent 3 nights in a wigwam and found it warm and comfortable. Access to the bunkhouse kitchen and common room was very much-appreciated. The kitchen was very well equipped, with an honesty shop, and the common room was a very sociable set-up. The location, of course, is stunning: you can't go wrong there. Billy and Theresa were welcoming and... More

Spent a night in a wigwam with a couple of friends. Much more than we expected and spectacular views. Owners Theresa an Billy are very friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The accommodation and facilities are spotless and the bbqs outside each wigwam and the bunkhouse are a great feature. The prices are extremely good. The Old Inn and Oyster Shop (large... More
