This hostel is a great place, when coming to Skye! The price is good for a bed and a vibrant pub. I have been here twice and both stays were great. Its a hostel, not a hotel and therefor didn't expect any fancy rooms or upscale travelers. The prices at the bar are affordable and the selection of spirits are... More

Thank you Jonathan for the bar! Great fun, girls loved the cider. The bed was really comfortable even tho Anouk snored all night! But waking up to that full Scottish breakfast made my day! Keep the good work up. I would definitely recommend this hostel!

I stayed at Saucy Marie's for one night during my tour through Scotland. The restaurant and bar was brilliant. The food was excellent and the service was very good and friendly. Although the shower on our level did not drain very fast, it did not distract from the easy going atmosphere of the lodge. The bunk beds though... not for... More

Stayed one night here on out tour, rooms were basic but the beds comfy, so for one night was all you need, the pub down stairs was fun and gives guests a discount on food. Meals are really nice and the beer cold. Great band was playing! Good place to stay if your not expecting too much

I came away from Saucy Mary's feeling overwhelmed, in a good way though. It was purely down to the extremely high level of help i received from Jackie. Very friendly staff in general, and a great place to stay. Very clean. Would defo stay again. There is a pub/restaurant directly next door and the food is simply yummy. Saucy Mary's... More

Booked in advance for a party of 8 anglers. The lads had 'budget' accommodation @ £24+ in an annexe while I paid £45 for my own room in the main building. Alarm bells rang when the owner requested full payment on arrival. The annexe accommodation was sparse with metal bunk beds resembling a prison cell, gurgling sinks, shared showers &... More

Every guest pays on arrival and you booked into a hostel. Hostels have bunk beds. Hostels have shared facilities. You did not research your destination clearly. If you want only want to pay 19.50 per person and £5 for breakfast then you must expect basic facilities. Had you stayed in a hotel or B&B you would have each paid between... More

Cheap so can't complain too much. The sinks in room sound like they're backing up every time someone else runs water. The fridge for our use was DISGUSTING! The man who booked me in in the pub was quite rude as though it was a great inconvenience having customers. The menu is confusing for a vegetarian too, FYI Caesar salad... More

This is a backpackers hostel so didn't arrive expecting The Ritz, however the rooms are expensive and the en-suite we had smelt awful. We were kept awake until gone two due to drunken revellers deciding to have a party in the next room. On the plus side, the beds were clean and comfy but would never visit again.

We, a family of 6 with 4 kids aged 6-12, stayed here for 2 nights. The room was basic but comfortable. Unfortunately, on our first night, there was a live band playing till midnight and our room was directly above the bar AND there were industrial strength spotlights right outside our window, that went on at 10 and went off... The rooms are small, clean and the beds are comfy. There was only 2 toilets between 7 dorm rooms so there was always a little bit of a wait. The wifi did not work at all, with the staff explaining that only 15 people can be connected at any one time but even at 5am I still couldn't connect! Very... More
