My husband and two teenage sons and I stayed here for 2 restful nights last week (Aug 6-8, 2014). I have to admit, prior to arriving, I quickly scanned TA and read two less than favourable reviews so I was a little concerned. However, my concern was quickly forgotten the moment we arrived. We drove from Edinburgh stopping to visit... More

We stayed two nights and were treated with great rooms, excellent breakfast and a very friendly atmosphere. It couldn't have been any better! If we return to Skye in the future, the Mo Dhachaidh will be our first choice for accomdation.

Greta's friendly welcome when we arrived well into the evening after driving unfamiliar country roads on the "wrong" side of the road was a relief for these weary Texans. Finding our comfortable, spotlessly clean room and the most modern and sparkly bathroom was a delight. So glad we were there three nights, as we enjoyed sharing travel tales with Greta's... More

excellent B&B, the rooms were spotless and comfortable and the people here were very nice (we were given useful tips about what to do and were to go on the island). Finally the breakfast was also very good ;) we strongly recommend this B&B!! Famille Bazaille, lyon, France

My wife and I just spent two nights at Mo Dhachaidh. The room, the breakfast, and the hospitality were all outstanding. We received a warm welcome from the owner, who gave us terrific advice for making best use of our time on Skye. You cannot go wrong with this place.

In between renting a cottage near Oban and a trip to the North East of Scotland, we enjoyed an excellent two-day stay at Mo Dhachaidh Guest House on the Isle of Skye. Greta and her daughter Jeanette looked after us very well. The location was ideal, the room was lovely, breakfast was great and overall, it was a very enjoyable... More

My family and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for 2 nights in July. My husband and I booked a double room and my parents and sister stayed in the family room. My sister was thrilled with the family room because she got her own real bed instead of cot. The rooms are extremely clean. They are also very... More

Our family stayed for one night. The grandmother and grandfather had problem falling asleep, dince the bad wasnt very comfortable. They were not too flexible with regards to breakfast. The location is an excelent point for whoever wants to go on day trips and/or boat trips of the island. On the whole very practiable, but non the less, not so... More

Thank you for your review, although we were very shocked and disappointed to read it. When you enquired about accommodation, the same day as you hoped to stay, we offered you our apartment and a room in the house because that is all that we had available. We explained that the house includes breakfast but owing to the fact that... More

After having an experience for two days in Inverness at our prior guest house, this house was so unwelcoming. Both the host and hostess were not the least bit warm. They have a beautiful spot in the lounge area but we were not allowed to hang there. What is the purpose then? The rooms were modern and beautiful, the food... More

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear that you did not find my husband and I very welcoming during your stay. I did introduce myself upon your arrival and welcomed you all into our home. I gave you information on places to visit, told you of all the local places to eat, and we did spend... More

Everyone in the family was extremely friendly and helpful. They were always cheerful and it was very pleasant talking to them. Our room was spacious and breakfast was excellent. The living room has a wonderful view. We will definitely come back.
