We booked on line for the Glenarroch B&B, we had not read all the details unfortunately on Late Rooms so did not realise there were 2 buildings and you could be in either one. We were in Witchwood, the first thing that greeted us was the owner stood at the front door smoking. The cream carpet on the stairs was... More

This was the most inexpensive option, we had a regular and small double. The small double is quite wee, not much room to maneuver, but all the room you need for a place to stay. Clean new bed, good shower, hot water, not much floor space. Everything seems new, paint, carpet, bedding, etc. Very freshly done. Tea, coffee and kettles... More

Town is run down and very few places to eat. Largely caters to backpackers which is fine unless you are not a backpacker. B&B, though accessible path was not really good for wheelchair. It was in the back which meant a long hall and several doors as well as turns in the hall, so not ideal for wheelchair. People were... More

Probably this is a family-run B&B, but essentially it's rather a 2/3 star hotel/motel, so frankly we had expected more for the money we paid. We had a triple room (room 6). It is large enough to sleep, but certainly isn't large for anything else (but not tiny either). The doors and carpets in the room and in the corridor... More

Despite having booked at least 5 weeks in advance and paying at the time of booking, i was dissapointed to find that on my arrival, there had been a "system error" and there was indeed no room at the Inn. Fortunately they had booked me into a local B&B which was very nice. Having seen Glenarroch up close, i'm not... More

It was a nice sweet little room with all the facilities. Fresh towels, Tea and coffee facilities with 2 small packets of biscuits. Right outside you have a view of the Sea. Beautiful to enjoy sunset and take a small stroll to the Skye bridge. Staff was courteous and helpful As you can see it was right at the onset... More

I stayed here for one night with my boyfriend and a friend. On arrival we were a bit confused as to where to go as the door to the bar was locked as well as the rooms section. We realised eventually that on the left of Saucy Mary's was another section (was actually labelled hostel) and we got our keys... More

After reading the reviews on trip advisor I knew what to expect. I knew I had to check in at the bar, and I knew that the B and B was in another building. Had I not known that, the whole process would've been very unwelcoming, I would've found this B&B somewhat hostile. While picking up my keys for the... More

The Glenarroch B&B was easy to find. The staff, from the lady in the pub, the folks in the shop to the cleaning lady was so nice and friendly. The room we had was good size. We had a large bathroom. One of the largest bathrooms I had ever seen in any hotel /B&B that I had stayed in. The... More

Glenarroch is a bungalow next to a pub called Saucy Mary's. I followed the sign to the side door of the B&B, which was locked. A staff member coming out of the pub told me to go to the bar where I would be checked in. Despite having booked and prepaid for two nights, they had no record of my... More
