After reading the reviews on trip advisor I knew what to expect. I knew I had to check in at the bar, and I knew that the B and B was in another building. Had I not known that, the whole process would've been very unwelcoming, I would've found this B&B somewhat hostile. While picking up my keys for the... More

The Glenarroch B&B was easy to find. The staff, from the lady in the pub, the folks in the shop to the cleaning lady was so nice and friendly. The room we had was good size. We had a large bathroom. One of the largest bathrooms I had ever seen in any hotel /B&B that I had stayed in. The... More

Glenarroch is a bungalow next to a pub called Saucy Mary's. I followed the sign to the side door of the B&B, which was locked. A staff member coming out of the pub told me to go to the bar where I would be checked in. Despite having booked and prepaid for two nights, they had no record of my... More

The check in procedure was confusing as we knocked on the front door of the house (this portion is a private residence) and received instructions to check in next door at Saucy Mary's pub. The entrance to the B & B portion of the house is on the side and upstairs. The room was suitably clean, decor was limited and... More

We were received very friendly. We had room 2, the room was very clean. Well as the bathroom. The B and B is located in the small town. Breakfast is served in the pub next to the house. The walls are very thin. The room has a small double bed. The room is the smallest that I have ever seen.... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome by the lady who booked us in nor could have been more helpful. The room was perfectly clean and the bed was as comfy as any we have ever slept in. The hospitality tray was well stocked with tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and a good supply of biscuits.... More

£55 for one person for a night makes this the most expensive B&B/Guest House I have ever stayed in. The room was also the smallest I have ever stayed in. The room was in the attic, so the roof sloped over around half of the room, including over the toilet meaning that I could not stand and use the toilet... More
