Not a pretentious hotel but they are very good at what they do. The fabric could do with a bit of a freshen up but the staff more than make up for this. Always smiley and helpful more
yes there was failings the last time i stayed, but have THEY addressed these problems. would certainly stay there again. give them a visit and see for your self how things have very much improved compaired to their previous reviews more

My partner and I stayed here for three nights, never, ever again! I agree with a fellow reviewer, the place stinks to high heaven and it is filthy with paint and plaster peeling off the walls. This has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel needs to be shut down and re-furbished. The corridors to the rooms smell awful problable due to the dirty disgusting carpets that look like they have never vacuumed since the hotel was open. They are worn, ripped and in need of replacing. On arriving at the hotel, we were greeted by the receptionist at the hotel with what we've found to be the typical Highland welcome - silence and a blank stare.
