Great location if you get a room at the front of the hotel but no warm Scottish Welcome from the mostly Eastern European staff..Some have poor English and do not understand guest requests and this is stressful and they come over as rude. No local beers in the bar and have to get own drinks from the bar as no... More

The room was on the 3rd floor & had a gorgeous view of the water. The ceiling was sloped but that made the experience unique & memorable. Not what you would normally find in hotels. Dinner & breakfast were adequate. Staff was friendly & helpful. Was travelling with a tour group thru Scotland.

Went in for a late lunch at 2.00 pm. There was one young man serving the bar, taking orders for meals, and waiting at the tables. A young lady came and cleared our table from the previous diners ..... well, she took half the stuff away and came back around 10 minutes later for the rest. We never saw her... More

One night stay as part of our highlands and islands road trip - probably the least attractive place we stayed in although the location just near the Skye Bridge and the view were great. In fact, most of the B&Bs we've stayed in were better as well as cheaper - £100 for the night. The hotel is impersonal, lacks atmosphere... More

This hotel is in a beautiful location, having read some of the reviews prior to going on holiday I was a little apprehensive, however on reaching the hotel I was pleasantly surprised & mightily relieved to find that our room was bright, clean & comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, The breakfast & evening meals were acceptable though not great. We were part of... Stayed here for two days as part of tour group. This hotel caters for group bookings and the lack of competition shows in how it conducts its business. Checking in was painful as they had lost and then eventually found the booking for me. Room was OK but cheaply furnished. Breakfast was very average. The bar was extremely poor. I... More

We stayed here as part of our tour of Scotland. The tour guide warned us to lower our expectations ahead of time as this is the only hotel on Skye that can support a large tour group of 30+. The tour company should either break the group up or not stay on Skye. Rooms were tiny, dirty, dingy & drafty.... More

I called in for a drink to find a large group at the bar. i waited at the side until the barman finished serving them. He then turned to others to serve them and i said Excuse me, i am next. He said you are not standing at the correct place and I am serving this group. I said it... More

Lodging options in this area aren't numerous and we were here with a tour group so we had no choice. They accommodated our group well. Wifi is only in the bar/lobby area. Our room was on the first floor and it was incredibly stuffy. We opened the windows for circulation only to invite in the midges. Oh, the midges. I... More

Unfortunately one of only a few hotels that takes large groups in the area that fit in my group's budget. Very much a coach tour hotel which is in need of some serious investment. I was in top floor wing bedroom overlooking the side with sloping roof, so hard to stand up on one side of the room. My bed... More
