Was a little bit run down, but had everything we needed (not to mention good craic!). Needs a refurbishment, but we only needed to stay 1 night, so was perfect for that. Room was small but bed was comfy and had a great view from the window. Bathroom was small and outdated but functional. Staff were efficient and friendly, and... More

This was the first hotel I booked when looking at Skye as it was late in the evening and just wanted somewhere to sleep. Taking into consideration I would now have booked somewhere higher up the Isle, however this is a great place to stay if you have a couple of days to explore and want something easily accessible. The... More

I was surprised at the quality of the room and service I received. I wasn't expecting much as it is only a 2 star. The food was good and the staff went out of there way to make a packed lunch as I was going to be away before breakfast. Room was clean and tidy and the bed was good.... More

I stayed here for one night when working in the area, on arrive I thought it looked ok. However the diner was the worst food was very disappointing, the soup of the day (lentil) tasted like it was from a tin and the Burger was clearly frozen (perhaps from Farmfoods) for the price I would have expected a tasty handmade... Stayed one night en route for Uig ferry. Very good value at £35 B and B, but presence of coach parties, tired "Och aye the noo" decor and indifferent food would have made a longer stay uncomfortable. Staff at reception very helpful.

Somewhat disappointing on arrival to find decor a little tired and Reception area rather dark and unwelcoming however from there on it got better. Bedroom clean although on the small side. Very comfortable bed and adequate bathroom. Breakfast on both mornings was superb as was the dinner on day two. Serving staff terrific and very patient. Value for money. You... More

Having read the reviews I decided that if I expected the worst I'd be ok. Arrival in the wrong part of hotel in the bar area, found reception. Was dealt with quickly but interrupted by what appeared to be the receptionist daughter no manners towards us. Our room was surprisingly ok. Clean and had what we needed. Yes the hotel... More
