We stayed at this hotel on our trip to Isle of Skye in September 2011. For the price we paid the accommodation was very good. The staff were amicable and friendly. Room was clean and neat. Breakfast was great (included in price). More

I stayed at this "hotel" in September 2011 while on a Trafalgar Tour. This was the worst hotel we stayed at, thankfully most of the others on the 20 night trip were very good. I noticed that the ancient appliances, lamps, etc in the rooms had safety test tags attached to them, indicating that they were safe to use. I... More

We stayed one night at this hotel, because it was late and the choice of accommodation was very limited. The hotel looks quaint on the outside, but not so quaint on the inside. The hotel has a feel of the sixties, when the hotel probably was expanded. Additional rooms have been added on to the original building. We had a... More

We checked in at tis place however we were appaled at the quality of the accomodation. The room and furniture were old and outdated and very cheap. There was no shower just a bath tub. There was water coming in from the windows, which were rotten and damp and you could smell the damp in the air, room no 146.... More

I was traveling in a group and they warned us about this hotel. But, they said it was the best they could do considering we had a group and wanted us to see the isle of Skye. Well Skye was beautiful, but this hotel is not a hotel, It goes back to the 1600 and never was updated. Still the... More

This hotel looks quaint from the outside but extends into a modern wing. My room was extremely reasonable in price so I shouldn't complain but it was very basic, small with what resembled a cupboard as an ensuite. The public areas are tired and rather tatty. The most inspiring area is the fireplace in the main reception/entrance. When I asked... More

We stayed here with a tour group, so not sure of the cost and therefore whether this was value for money. However, it was comfortable enough. No shower (just a plastic attachment on request to use in the bath) - this was an experience - but that's what holidays are about! It was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly... More

Not untypical of west highland hotels in that it closes all winter so major investment is impossible. And that is probably what it could do with. But food was good and staff were pleasant. The dining room was OK but the main lounge bar could best be described as soulless. Rooms were functional and clean. Not a top class luxury... More

Firstly let me state we did not stay here; we stopped for lunch and walked into something from the 60s; the staff were polite and that is the onle plus. The decor is awful, the corridors to the toilets smelt of damp and something else. We decided to order tea, coffee and were offered scones. On arrival we were informed... More

We stopped at the Hotel for a bite to eat because there is very little choice for food in Kyleakin. The food was DISGUSTING and we walked out in disgust, after refusing to pay. I ordered a burger for my son, which costs £9. When it came, it was on a pathetic tiny bun, with an enormous catering burger in... More
