Never seen anything like it! Very run down in all aspects and needing a total refurbishment. Paint peeling off windows and the front door was not a welcome sight and the interior oh my goodness was awful! Smelt damp from the minute I stepped in side and as I walked along the corridor of the first floor to my room... More

Fabulous view from front of hotel across Skye Bridge. On arrival hotel looked tired and drab. In the bedroom the curtains were dirty and damp. Windows were running with condensation. We chose not to open them as buses were parked outside with engines running at times with smell of diesel fumes. The shower was over the bath and the pressure... More

We stayed at this hotel out of necessity because we booked late and were short on options. Reception was chilly, a far cry from the scottish hospitality to which we'd become accustomed. The foyer is deceptively atmospheric with a warm fireplace, but it couldn't be more different from the rooms. Our room was shabby, worn out, and musty. Breakfast was... More

I paid £100 for a night and a waitress was hoovering during breakfast time... A recepcionist was very unpleasant and gruff. When I asked her for help, she rolled her eyes. I definitely don't recommend this hotel, however its location is quite nice.

Arrived here on a bus tour in pouring rain. Very difficult for bus to park at rear of property. Scramble for luggage and wait for the lift. Rooms are slightly tired, but perfectly accepatble for our purposes. Wi-fi is free, but only works in the reception area. Have to be early to get a seat round the fire. The food... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Tour of the Islands, It was a great little hotel and the staff were so friendly. The food was good in the restaurant and the rooms were very comfy. It is a VERY old hotel, dating from the 1600's so obviously its not ultra modern inside. I read a few... More

A massive place for a bed and breakfast. Well located just after crossing the bridge that gets you to Skye. Good place for a night before entering Skye, because the town is quite small, not much to do there.

This is a low cost hotel that caters for coach parties, which we were. 49 people and a driver on a walking holiday. Check in and out were very quick. My wife and I had a room which was small, clean and had a fully function bathroom - all we needed. The restaurant food was what we were looking for... More

Stayed one night, got a lovely welcome from reception. Felt the chairs in the lobby could be a lot more comfortable. Room was pretty basic, good selection on tv channels and clean. Breakfast was cold but an average selection. Overall a fine stay could of been cheaper though!
