Stayed here 10 days ago Arrived at 7pm to be told hotel restaurant was closed, that they wouldn't be serving any food, should make people aware of this when they book. Wifi, non existent, blaming the weather for it not working. Breakfast, got the order wrong. Got home to find they'd charged me twice for the privilege of staying there.... More

we stayed at this country house hotel in August for 2 nights while touring the Isle of Skye. The hotel is old, but this is its charm and beauty. Rooms were large and clean, the shower ok, but water pressure was a tad low, but fine. the BF was very good along with the bar in the evening. the staff... More

Stay well clear of this Hotel as 2 of the most horrific people we have ever had the displeasure to meet run this a Mother and Daughter, very rude, unfriendly, when we complained about how awful this hotel was late bar opening and now not serving food, we were asked to leave, when my Husband and myself said we would... It's glory days are over, in need of upgrade throughout and new management. Don't expect a warm welcome and don't try to check in before 4pm ! On a good point the staff in bar and waiting tables are lovely.

This hotel has nothing going for it. We were greeted by a rude owner who started by disputing we even had a booking although we had made one 10 months ago and had the paperwork to prove it. This hotel is situated by the bridge on the way into Skye but I strongly suggest that going closer to Portree is... More

Arrived following a great night in Glencoe at about 1 45 pm. We were unsure re check in time as had contacted hotel on two previous occasions for email confirmation which was never received. Fabulous weather so took our two dogs out for a short walk to be met by a very odd lady who looked at us and said... More

The hotel itself is okay, nice garden, however the older lady owner was one of the rudest people I have met for a long time, hard to believe she is in the business of taking your money. Don't give her it, a most unpleasant experience to have to converse with her. Also the bar is dreadfully stocked and the new... More

Stayed at this place on Saturday23/8/14. As part of a 35th wedding anniversary treat for my wife and myself. We were booked in for 2 nights, we toured the island on the 24th and on arrival back at the hotel our clothing had been packed into our case. We tried to contact the reception but no one would answer, once... More

When we arrived on a cold, wet evening, the door was shut and apparently locked. When we were let in by a most unwelcoming woman, who appeared to be the manager, but did not introduce herself, she did not apologise but said in a most unaccommodating tone that the door was never locked. We were in the garden annex, which... More
