Difficulty in finding enough superlatives to describe this campsite, therefore one word only EXCELLENT...... the only rule of the campsite was 'enjoy your stay' and we certainly did. The location alone would sell this site, views over the loch, the sunsets.... Amazing

Camped for 4 nights.Relaxed owners very pleasant throughout. Basic facilities. No campsite shop. All local shops ran out of bread & milk by afternoon. So get stocked up in the morning. campsite within 10 mins walk from pubd & local store.

Arrived on spec, for two nights and was met by Colin who made us most welcome, and given a choice of pitch with hook up. Next morning was offered to move to any others that were free, but was more than happy with my pitch. The site and facilties were plentiful and very clean. Was given a full run down of... More

Booked 3 weeks in advance and requested a nice pitch with grass for sitting out for our large motor home . On arrival we were met pleasantly by reception and shown to our pitch - oh no !! A hard core section of 4 cramped pitches on top of each other and no grass !!!! No room to run out... More

This is the worst pitch we have ever encountered, crammed into an ill thought out space resembling a carpark. There was no room to put out awning because we were shoved so close to the next van, the surface of the pitch was too rough to put table and chairs on and in the shade of the next van. This... More

We arrived last Friday to the site with our caravan. Colin on site said go and get set up then come back and sort out the booking etc. ( we had booked in may). The site is right on the edge of the loch and has great views all around. The toilet facilities, showers etc are immaculate. Dunvegan village is... More

We visited Kinloch campsite for a long weekend in June. Although it took us about 9 hrs to get there it was well worth the drive. We were greeted by a lovely man who made us feel most welcome and we could choose any spot we wanted for our tent. The views of the Loch was amazing, especially early in... More

Liked this campsite, it is uncluttered and the owner is local to the area, relaxed and friendly. The facilities were clean and adequate. Pleasant views up the loch and the surrounding countryside. I would not hesitate to return here. I'm sure had I spent longer I would have found many more positive atributes. Not the best on price but by... More

Have been here twice now and nothing compares to the feeling of peace experienced, even in high summer. The owner is knowledgable and friendly, the campsite is tidy and organised whilst still retaining the natural feel. The showers deliver the hottest strongest blast of water I have found anywhere, and I have tried a few! The views on the Isle... More
