I agree with much that has been said in the previous reviews and I have stayed at the hotel before, about 2 years ago, under the previous owners. This year however we stayed for 3 nights. Everything was fine for the first 2 nights – the excellent food, views, sunsets etc. The third night a group of 8 “bikers” arrived.... more

The drive to the Duntulm Castle Hotel is spectacular if you do it in daylight (unlike us). It is probably as far from Skye Bridge as you can get on the island but well worth it as the setting can not be beaten with stunning views over to Harris. While it is true that the building is old and the bathrooms small, one comes to Scotland for the natural beauty, not a spa experience. The people here are so friendly. The food is excellent.
