my husband & I stayed here last summer & as soon as we saw the view we couldn't believe our luck!! it has to be the best location in skye if not scotland the staff are lovely & helpful & always made us welcome we had a sea view room & it was simple but had everything we needed with... More

Stayed for 1 night as planned. A lovely warm welcome, beautiful sunset, relaxing and friendly. It's not a posh city marriot and doesn't try to be. If that's what you want look elsewhere, otherwise you'll be fine. A genuine 'find' We will definitely go back one day

Been staying here every summer for the past 6 yrs and I can't fault the hospitality we get. Nice welcome, great food, comfy rooms and great views of the Troternish peninsula. If you are looking for views and hospitality, rather than 5* luxury, look no further. There's normally a great Craig going on in the bar of an evening, so... More

I've been here a couple of times over the years and I love their style. The last visit was earlier this year and with the Scottish weather we were soaked to the bone, but we will still welcomed in with opening arms. The fire in our room was already on, so our room was nice and warm, with a stunning... More

I'd like to start by saying how surprised I was to read past reviews. I'm not one for using this website often but having seen the reviews I felt the need. This place is in a stunning location at the end of the earth! The sunset was so romantic. I stayed with my partner and we shared a charming room,... More

The hotel is a Joke! We have been going to Skye for years now and for the last 3 this hotel is always closed each time we go for lunch. The sign on the roadside is extremely misleading as the hotel does not appear to be operational any longer. When we did manage to find it open around 2010 it... More

My son and I stayed at Duntulm for 3 nights last week and it was lovely. We had a sea view which was stunning. It was very peaceful and tranquil. The hotel is very old and fortunately retained its character. If you want 5 star luxury with all the mod cons go to a city and pay for it. If... More

The location is so beautifull, peacefull and romantic that you cannot imagine to find out a so lo-level accomodation, food and service. Out of 7 different location and B&B we tried was the most expensive and the (unique) we will not raccomand to anyone. The air you inspire is decadence ad it is really a pitty that what pheraps was... i stayed with my family at the duntulm castle hotel quite some time ago (late 90s), so this is not a review for those considering the current state of accommodations. however, let me just say that while there on the first night, i decided to go for a walk up the gravel road, not knowing anything about the nearby castle... What a shambolic place. If you are unfortuante enough to stay or even enter this run down hovel...please do not judge Skye by it. Stay elsewhere - wherever...and you will be much better off. The owners have allowed the "hotel" to become so run down that it is verging on collapse! Damp, smelly rooms and awful service. They have lost... More
