I found the 'hotel' to be lacking in atmosphere and the decor was seriously dated and a bit jaded. I would have expected a cooked breakfast for the price. We stayed at the Three Chimneys and House-Over-By for my financee's 30th birthday, and thanks to Shirley, Eddie and their team, had a truly memorable time. Yes, it's expensive. Having spent 4 nights camping on Skye, we were looking forward to our night of luxury at the end of the trip. We were not disappointed. Dinner, bed and breakfast at the Three Chimneys was a perfect end to our holiday on Skye. How can anyone fault this place? It is wonderful! We had a great stay for my mum's 60th birthday, the food was excellent, the staff very helpful and friendly and the rooms very plush with great views. I would recommend the 3 chimneys to anyone, breakfast was also fantastic. more
