The architect who designed this B&B along with the owner, Neil, who runs it have achieved as near perfection as it's possible to get. The design is stunning and practical with every possible comfort one could ask for. Beautiful scenery is complimented by real attention to detail. Neil knows his stuff and it shows. The breakfast, with fresh local produce,... More

Imagine a perfect boutique hotel, add the personal dedication of an owner (Neil) who knows exactly what he is doing and then add a stunning view through huge windows from every room, looking over the beach and out to sea with the Cullins providing the backdrop. Bedrooms hugely comfortable, and the investment in design and build shines through. The upstairs... More

My husband found this super B&B for a relaxing anniversary break. A modern house with ceiling to floor windows taking in panoramic views of Skye and across the sea to mainland mountains. Underfloor hearing in the en suite provides for cosy accommodation while the well equipped bedrooms and comfortable beds ensure a sound sleep. Ceiling to floor windows in bedrooms... More

If you think you have been to the most beautiful and perfect place yet, you might have to change your mind after staying at neil's b&b. The house is in a unique design, modern but with many characteristic pieces from scotland. The living room and the rooms have huge rooms with an amazing view, just a few footsteps away from... More

You could not ask for more from this top class B&B , a beautiful house in the most spectacular setting. The rooms are lovely with fabulous views out to sea, everywhere in the house is spotless. A warm welcome and a cup of tea on your arrival , the breakfast exceeds even a top class hotel. This was by far... More

Agree with everything the last reviewer says. We stayed in September and it was superb. The views are second to none from those amazing windows, and it was brilliant to sit and just stare out the window in rain or sunshine. Neil's cooking is brill, wish we could have sampled one of his dinners. The fresh daily muffins and non... More

Just stayed at Tigh an Dochais for 3 nights. Arrived about 4pm and after being shown our room were offered a welcome cup of tea. Served in a comfortable, warm guest lounge with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a view to die for. We had contacted Neil and asked him for a light dinner on our first night. Delicious fresh... This has to be one of the best places I've ever stayed in! The position of the house right on the beach with floor to ceiling windows is second to none. The room was large and well appointed with a huge bathroom and underfloor heating. The guest lounge was very comfortable with a roaring fire and plenty of reading matter... More

Everything about this B&B was fantastic. We were greeted on arrival with homemade cake and given a great recommendation for dinner. The building has been tastefully built and decorated and the room was peaceful and comfortable and backed onto the water. It was lovely to sit there in the evening outside the sliding door and share some wine. The breakfast... More
