Reading over the most recent reviews, it would appear that year in and year out nothing ever seems to change at Dunollie, despite having changed hands several times. Alarms going off late at night, people getting sick, dodgy plumbing etc. etc. Having stayed there on several occasions I was always willing to try this place again when the hotel was... more

Stayed 1 night single occupancy of twin room for £40 booked at discount via booking.com. At that price it's OK. This is a hotel that caters very much for coach tours. Be warned the main car park is for coaches only & the car car park is quite small although I was OK as most of the clients appeared to... more

We arrived at the Dunolli as part of a large group to be met by friendly and well organised staff. The room was very clean and everything one could wish for in an Hotel room. The evening meals and breakfasts were excellent. Every member of staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. The Fire Alarm went off just as... more

We arrived to a very efficient booking in, considering the huge numbers in our party. We had a plumbing issue with the shower, but that was rectified quickly by the staff. As far as the service and hospitality was concerned, it was much better than some more exclusive hotels. The food in the restaurant was tasty and hot and was... more

Just returned form a 2 night stay at The Dunollie Hotel. This was an organised car tour and the organisers had booked all but a few rooms for both nights. The check in was quick on arrival. The rooms, although in need of decoration were very clean with excellent views. The service and meals were excellent. Food was served piping... more

Arrived at Dunollie with a bit of fear & trepidation after hearing mixed reviews. My opinion? Yes it needs a lick of paint or three BUT The service was excellent, staff friendly & helpful, food good & well served & the room was clean & tidy. No complaints & I would definately go back. more

Upon arrival, I was able to see the big Dunollie Hotel sign. Unfortunately the nice sign did not make up for the big brown patches under the chimneys and all down the side of the building. The man at the front desk was very nice and was pretty much the best part of my stay. Steep stairs took us to... more

Stayed here as part of a tour and I found it delightful. Nice location, right on the water, easy access to a nice walking path along the water and the village garden/square. Staff are exceptional - very friendly and chatty. Rooms are very spacious wiht good views; view from the dining room is killer! Dinner and breakfast in the dining... more
