Stayed in Dunollie one night with friends. I read review from other customer and I disagree with most of them (I had a differente experience). The staff was friendly and cheerful; limited parking space; rooms was a essencial and warm, but dull in a certain way; comfortable beds and good smelling duvets; clean bathroom and hot water from faucets; tasty... Excellent no frills hotel with great value dinner and a buffet breakfast. Dining room faces onto the harbour with nice views. Room was comfortable and all that was required. The only small downside was the limited parking available - although I did mangae to get parked both nights we were there, The staff were very friendle and efficient.

The only thing that stopped me demanding my money back here, so I could book into another hotel was the staff. They were super friendly and helpful and fairly apologetic of facilities that appear to have been in a state of disrepair for quite some time. Room one had a window that wouldn't shut, sticky carpets, no hot water, a... More

Two days of misery, with little to enjoy...terrible food in a cold dining room downstairs, all main courses served on hot plates, inedible fish, baked to within an inch of its life... Stayed in a grubby bedroom, ( bath and sink plugs detached from their chains)...not to be repeated!

Stayed at The Dunollie for one night on room only basis. The room was clean and very comfortable. Staff are very friendly. The hotel is in a great location especially for exploring the south including Elgol and Sleat. I would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a four night stay at the Dunollie, Broadford with Urquhart tours. The hotel was comfortable, clean, excellent food and the staff in particular were friendly, helpful, pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. A lovely atmosphere, especially breakfast time with the backdrop of beautiful Skye winking at you in the morning sunshine!.... looking forward to many return visits,... More

Stayed here on my way to a family funeral in Skye. The bedroom was nice and the breakfast in the morning was good, but there was no hot water at the sink and it was cracked. The price for bed and breakfast was very reasonable.

Stayed here with my husband for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We booked as part of a coach tour and when given our room we were allocated a twin. We went back to reception to ask for a double and within 5 mins we had been moved to a much larger double room, no problems at all. The... More

This is my second time stay in this hotel in last 3 years. In 2010, I was looking for a stay for my Isle of Skye trip with my friends, and stayed a 1 night there. In Aug 2013, I was planning a trip to Isle of Skye and was looking for a place to stay before heading to Isle... More
