I had a wonderful time staying with Ron and Pam last week, they were so helpful and friendly. My room was very comfortable and the ensuite was really clean and well set up. Pams breakfasts are amazing! Very tasty and varied, I cant speak highly enough about my stay here and I would love to return one day for another... More

I've used Tir Alainn twice now as a base for making forays into the Cuillins. I could not have chosen better. When I arrived for my second stay, I was greeted as if I were an old friend. Very cosy single room, excellent breakfasts, knowledgable advice and info about the Cuillins, and on top of all that Ron and Pam... More

This was my third stay at Tir Alainn and again I was greeted with the same warmth, hospitality, wonderful food and great accommodation. Pam and Ron take such pride in providing for their guests and I've never been disappointed. I would recommend booking early as they are always full ! Thanks Pam and Ron for a lovely stay and hope... We had the opportunity to spend two nights here and we had a wonderful stay. We had two rooms both of which were very comfortable and in the morning we were given a fantastic breakfast to set us up for the day. We also had a very comfortable lounge filled with books on hill walking and if this is your... More

We have just completed a tour staying at seven of the highest rated B & B s in Scotland, plus Tir Alainn (as we had difficulty getting a booking on Skye). We are both over 70 and unlikely to cause intentional offence but someone in this house is obsessed with rules and displaying them. Even the light switches have instructions... More

I've spent a couple of nights at the Tir Alainn while travelling to the Isle of Skye with a friend. The location is beautiful, close to a river and in the middle of meadows; near Broadford, so pretty convenient for exploring the island. Ron & Pam, the two owners, have been really friendly and nice: they also borrowed us a... More

Two days were not enough. Wished I could have stayed longer in this wonderful place. Such amazing little jewel, peaceful setting and fascinating landscape. *Much* appreciated Pam and Ron's very kind hospitality and most delicious breakfast! Praise, praise to those amazing homemade jams! Very clean place, large room and bathroom! Hope to be back again one day! Stefi :) ~from... More

This quiet B&B in Broadford ticks all the boxes of a well organised, regulated business. The spotless guests bedrooms open up off a narrow hallway and are all at ground-floor level. Good quality breakfast is served during a 1 hour slot at one table set for 6 people in a room where space is at a premium. A larger sitting... More

Thank you for your review. We do not normally provide a management response but feel that we need to in this instance to correct some inaccuracies for the benefit of future guests. Firstly, we never seat six people at the dining room table as we can only accommodate five guests (2 doubles and 1 single). Secondly, breakfast is served between... More

Both Ron and Pam are excellent and make you feel at home right away. They can also serve as tourist information center and have a good collection of tourist books on the Isle. The breakfast is perfect, the rooms are very clean, bathroom is big and has a nice shower. In front of the hotel, 5 minutes walking distance you... More

My partner and I recently stayed for three nights at Tir Alainn and what a delight. Apart from the comfortable accommodation, exceptional breakfast and breathtaking views Ron and Pam added much more. Their vast knowledge of the area in particular in walking and rock climbing was an added bonus. We had a enjoyable visit to Skye with Ron and Pam... More
