Stayed for four nights while seakayaking on the Isle of Skye. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The hosts, Ron and Pam, couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. As a solo traveler they were most helpful in giving me good information about what was available. The breakfast were good and hardy, accented by a variety of homemade jams.... More

Everything about Tir Alainn was perfect. Our bedroom was delightful: we could look outside and see flocks of sheep and also a bird feed we with tons of birds. The cooking was superlative: I enjoyed a full Scottish breakfast complete with black pudding which was tasty. The advice for what to do and where to go on the Isle of... More

The location was great a couple of miles east of Broadford far enough of the main road to be quiet but with easy access back. It was great for us because we wanted to visit Applecross as well as seeing Skye from a single base. On our first night there was a terrific sunset viewed from the lounge. The rooms... More

This B&B is in a great location for exploring the southern end of Skye. Pam and Ron are wonderful hosts and very welcoming, and have thought of all the little extras, although the rooms are perhaps a little on the smaller side. After a few days grey and overcast weather we finally had some sun, and it was loverly sitting... More

We chose this B&B as it was positively reviewed on trip advisor. The situation is excellent. The rooms are relatively small and quite dark and gloomy. Breakfast is well cooked and features the owners own delicious sausages. Unfortunately it is served at 8 15 prompt and the other guests were called 8 30 to see if they were coming for... More

Very friendly hosts, nice house. Everything is clean and nice. From our sea-view room we could watch the sea through binocular that is kindly provided in every room And the most impressive was the lunch - thanks to Pam! We even started to write down her recipes.

We stayed in Tir Alainn on Friday and Saturday, this was the second time we stayed with Pam and Ron, and the only way to describe the whole experience is perfection! From the welcoming, to the help and advise, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms which had everything you could possibly need, even cotton buds and cotton discs! The binoculars... More

Our first impressions were of a warm welcome, warm room, and our dog Ruby welcomed as well. The room was nicely appointed and clean and comfortable with en suite facilities. The views are spectacular from the bedroom window with wonderful sun rises and sunsets. A walk down the lane to the beach area was a pleasure for us all and... More
