We enjoyed talking of books and life; slept soundly in a clean, comfortable, and quiet room; and savored the breakfast served before discovering the Isle of Skye. The hosts, Pam and Ron, are particularly good at making you feel welcome and directing you to favorite places.

Amazing views out to sea, hearty Scottish (or vegetarian) breakfasts and welcoming, warm and incredibly helpful hosts. Pam and Ron know the Isle of Skye like the back of their hand and are able to help plan your trip and recommend restaurants etc. The B&B is ideally located, not too far from the bridge off the island. Couldn’t have asked... More

Pam and Ron are the best! Exceptional hosts, making you feel like family as soon as you arrive. Their B&B is soooo clean, and of my entire two week trip throughout Scotland, I had the best shower there. But, more importantly, they are generous with their time, culinary skills, wit, charm, and knowledge of the area. Definitely take their advice... More

Pam and Ron run a superb B&B; they are so welcoming and helpful and the house is immaculate with delightful touches that make it a superb place to stay. Pam is a wonderful cook and her breakfasts are a work of art, particularly with her special home made sausages - out of this world. For those who are not so... More

Pam and Ron make you feel right at home once you step inside their immaculate house. So clean and tidy, massive shower for a single room accomodation. And the breakfast!! Quality food and well presented. I recommend the hot salmon and eggs. I had it four mornings out of five! No lunch required, thats for sure. Thanks Pam and Ron... More

Pam and Ron are simply wonderful and run this little gem of a B and B with great care, warmth and total professionalism. We loved every minute staying at Tir Alainn as did our two Aussies who refused to get in our car when we had to leave, they were having so much fun. The breakfasts were amazing as well.... More

Upon our arrival we received a warm welcome by Ron and his wife Pam. We had a nice after-dinner time in their company talking about whisky and above all tasting it!. The breakfast was delicious and rich: yogurth with cereals, fresh fruit together with the typical scottish meals. The house is charming and surrounded by the wonderful nature of the... More

The best thing about this B&B is the friendliness and kindness of the owners, Ron & Pam. Always available and ready to help, they really made the difference. I think all guests feel this and everybody is more talkative and willing to share their experiences.

This summer a friend of mine and I rented a car to thoroughly explore Scotland as best we could in 10 days. Our winding road took us to many places - Isle of Skye amongst them, of course - and there we've enjoyed the best hospitality and best overall experience of all the places we've stayed at. I'm obviously talking... More

Skye, a magical experience whatever the weather. How do you improve on magical experiences? You enhance them by staying at Tir Alainn, you already know about the views of Skye what you want is hospitality & comfort, and you get this in abundance from Ron & Pam. I had their single room with all the necessary creature comforts down to... More
